Deanna Wood,postmaster Sidney,Michigan ripoff, misinformation concerning certified letter,denied service by postmaster. Sidney, Michigan

I requested a certified letter be sent to my daughter in New York .I was told by the postal employee that the letter would be delivered only to my daughter. I got the return reciept back stating,another person had picked up her mail.

I was falsely informed by the post office employee that the letter would only be able to be picked up by my daughter. When I got the return reciept it stated another person had picked up my daughters mail.

I went to the same post office and asked why this had happened. I was informed that I must send the letter using restriceted delievery and that I must send it again if I wanted to make sure that only my daughter could get the mail and only she could pick it up. I asked the postmaster,Deanna Wood, if she could get it right this time. She said wait a minute lets start over. I said what do you mean ,she said it was not her fault that it was not done right the first time and I disagreed with her.

She stated then that I must go to another post office to mail the letter again as she would not serve me there at the Sidney office. So that is what I did. I feel I should be reimbersed for the cost of the first mailing and that the postmaster,Deanna Wood, should appoligize and also be repremanded for refusing to be of service to me.

Now, I wonder if she will even deliver my mail to my box as this is not the first time I have had problems with this postmaster as she may have and I emphasize may have sent my son Jay's Social Security Checks out to New York to his mother when they were supposed to be used here in Michigan for his benefit not so she could use them for her own personal use.

I really wish the post office would investigate this postmaster, as I have been in that office several times having to wait while she finished up personal phone conversations on the phone instead of being of service to waiting customers. Also I felt it was way out of line to tell me she would not service me and I had to go to a different office concerning the previous matter of the certified letter.
