DELL Computers deception, fraud, rip off, total lack of response Austin Texas

i guess my first mistake was thinking dell was an american company! my second was to make a purchase from dell back in april 2005. from day 1 i have had nothing but problems with that company. i ordered a specific computer.." what can i build for you" what i got was not what i ordered or was charged for. for over 3 months now i have been going back and forth with these people and i am no further to getting what i ordered or am paying for than i was from day 1. NO ONE answers the phones at dell unless you are calling for sales ! and boy oh boy do they answer there ! in america ! with an american speaking to you!! any other calls made that ever get answered you are in India!!! give me a break!

they use all the same phrases.. they dont solve any issues at all! they know nothing! i am sick and tired of dealing with this co. something has to be done to stop dell. i am ready and willing to be a part of a class action lawsuit against them. you call tech support.. they dont answer i have been on hold for over 82 minutes at a time! you call cust. care... same thing ! call sales.. answered right away ! i asked for a tech to come to my home.. i have a 4 year warranty with these fools..

i am told "no i am sorry mam we can not send tech to your home i am not authorized to do that" well who the heck is? why do i have warranty for? what am i paying for? this is ridiculas! i have a comp with no operating system.. from dell! i have a comp w/o the proper memory.. from dell! was sent the memory and told "stick it in yourself" was sent 3 different cd's for operating sysytem.. told to install myself.. wont install in my comp.. none of the cd's will be accepted by the computer. they dont know why.. too bad soo sad ! so here i sit with a 1700. computer/bill and no computer ! and rebate?? ha ! have i got that yet ? NO! says i have no order!!! they are horrible. we the public have to unite to stop them ..

i dont know what the legalities are but i am willing to do whatever i can to stop this from happening to anyone else. i have already sent 3 people in the other direction... away from dell to purchase a computer.. that is not enough.. more need to know. i wish i had known before i bought.
