Denver Volvo Overhcharge and inflation of mechanical services with nonexistent problems with truck Commerce City Colorado

  Listen to the negative reviews posted in Denver Volvo. They are true. The "positive" reviews were done by members of the Volvo Team and a program to reward positive reviews with a camo ballcap is in place. That kind of tells you what kind of reputation they have. My story: On 08/29/15 I checked in to the Service Writer for check fault codes and the battery icon in flashing on the dashboard display. The service writer, Chris, took my info and told me that it would not be into the shop on Tuesday 09/01/15. Tuesday comes along and I get no call. I have to call them up and when I finally reach them, they say the truck wasn't checked in at all. I told them what are you talking about I just checked it in. They then told me that I wasn't checked in. I told him never mind, I'm going to bring it to another dealer. Lo and behold, they get the truck in like magic! After about a day they call me back and say the truck is fixed. They took three hours for a diagnosis at 140 per hour, per issue, and I plunked down 762.00 As soon as I roll five minutes from the dealership, the same issues come back. This time, though, the issues are coupled with air conditioning system not working. I bring it back and they then charged me another 800.00 to refix the same problem I came back in and they tried to milk me for another thousand to fix the A/C. I told them forget about it I'm bringing it to another shop. They told me I had a leak in the compressor to condenser hose and I was low in Freon. I noticed that my A/C had suddenly started working as I drove away, and then I realized that they had purposefully sabotaged the issues to balloon the price. I went to another mechanic to confirm it and guess what? What Volvo told me was bull****. The Freon was filled , the hose was intact, and the engine power steamed to hide the evidence. I then called Josh, the morning service writer about the discrepancy and he just passed the buck to the next shift. DO NOT GO HERE. They make money by putting a bogus 3 hour diagnostic fee at 140 (420) then start working on it, plus parts, PER ISSUE. It shouldn't take that long but they milk the clock to squeeze you dry. They then make issues up to charge you some more. This is why they power washed my engine to hide any kind of evidence. Talking to management only gets you on a wild goose chase. My only recourse is to tell truckers not to go here.
