I ordered a free 16 day trial of Dermasoft Skin Restore online the 19th of May at 9:06pm.  During checkout a pop up box came up telling me other people who ordered this product also ordered PURECELL Eye Therapy. The only option was to click "ok" to continue on.  I clicked "ok" not realizing I was purchasing a second product.  After check out I received two emails with shipping charges for two products....Dermasoft and Purecell.  I let it go since charges were only $4.95 each thinking maybe I would love the product, at the same time feeling I had been scammed.

On the 16th day after ordering the product (still within the 16 trial), I noticed my credit card had been charged $89.95 for each product.  I called Dermasoft customer service number listed on the email confirmation I had received and a person who claimed to be with Purecell answered.  I explained that I did not want to continue this subscription and since I was still within the 16 days, I expected a full refund. After much back and forth and increased offers from Hector with the call center (beginning with 30% refund), I finally agreed to a 75% refund and cancellation of my account.  This, he claimed, was only for the Purecell product, I would have to contact Dermasoft to deal with that product.  Going back to my email, I see the I had already called the Dermasoft number when he claimed to only be able to assist with the Purecell product.  So, I tried calling the number listed on Purecell email to see if the numbers were mixed up, and that person, JC, claimed to have no account with my name.  She advised me to call the number on the back of the product instead.  So, I called the first number back again, waited AGAIN for a person to pick up, and then spoke with Lakeesha.  She was not willing to refund any of my money for Dermasoft so I insisted on speaking with a superviser.  The superviser begrudgingly refunded the full amount (only of the Dermasoft) only after I stated the product has a 100% satisfaction guarantee seal and since I'm not satisfied I would have to take further action.

The whole thing feels like a scam.  The pop up on the initial order forcing you to try two products, the lack of a full 16 days to decide if you want to continue the product(s), the wrong customer service numbers being listed on the emails, the negotiation with the first customer service rep....now time will tell if the refunds come back as promised.

Do NOT get sucked into purchasing anything from Derma Restore...even if it claims to be what has kept Christie Brinkley looking so young!!
