This guy Marvin Terry, the owner of Desert Auto Sales is one of the biggest scam artists in the used car world. First of all he buys cars from insuarnce auctions that already have issues and he bandaids them together and 2 days later when the Transmission goes out or your Air Conditioner stops working, or the urethane that he used on a Motor Mount falls out. he will NOT fix it. He will not stand behind anything he sells.

Here is how it works, He goes to an auction and pays $1,500 for a car but it has a check engine light on, he will reset the car so light goes off, he will give it a quick vaccum and put $5,000 on it and stick it out in front on the car lot. So you drive by and see that car and you go in to inquire and Marvin will tell you $1,500 down and rest on payments, his own in-house financing so to speak, and then 3 days down the road your car that you just bought falls apart, Marvin will tell you, youre s**t out of luck because he doesent care he got his money back on the down payment, so you can always know what he paid for a vehile at auction because it will be the amout of the down payment.

He will cut every corner he can, I literally watched him squirt urethane where a bushing for a motor mount should go, instead filled with urethane, if a car needs body work he will use bondo and then paint it with a can of spray paint used for wrought iron, the man is cheap. He is always hustlin somebody to try and get stuff for free, In fact he had a guy completely remodel an apartment at the car lot, and the guy did beautiful work and spent thousands of his own money on supplies just to have Marvin screw him and not pay him a dime, Marvin Terry and Desert Auto Sales are super shady, there are much better used car dealers to go to, Stay away from Marvin Terry you will be glad you did,

Did you hire a trusted mechanic to inspect the car before you purchased it from someone you previously suspected to be a shady character?
