Designers Choice --CHOOSE ANOTHER STORE--- COLLYVILLE, Texas

I bought $3000 worth of patio furniture in 3/08 from Designer's Choice. The company who made the furniture is DARLEE and the line is Elizabeth.  We were told that Darlee has an excelent return policy and anything can be returned thru Designers Choice if anything at all goes wrong with the furniture.

The furniture was delivered and I had to break out my tools to tighten all the bolts on the chairs since they were not put together very well.  One of the springs on the chairs broke within the first two months and was replaced. 

Then winter came.  In Feb/March of 09 we started to get the yard in shape for the upcoming year.  We noticed at least 6 cushins on the chairs and the big cushin on the chaise lounge were thread bare.  These were still under the "wonderful warrenty".  Our two ice buckets were rusted.  (dont know what good an ice bucket is if it rusts).  Two more of the springs in the chairs needed to be replaced and the wheels fell off the chaise lounge.

This is where the trouble started.  It is now 10 months later.  Tracy at Designers Choice has given us the run-around since March.  She is NEVER at the store, does not return phone calls and has outright lied to us on several occasions.  I even called Darlee on the matter and they refuse to deal with me since I am their customer's customer.  Now Designers Choice has "going out of business" signs out.

I have had nothing but a miserable experience dealing with this company and would recommend to everyone to STAY AWAY.
