I called Direct TV on 3-21-08 and set up an account to start service. On 3-22-08 I called back and cancelled. I was told that the order was canceled and that no money had been taken yet and that no money would be taken because the order was canceled before install.

On 3-26-08 I find out that they indeed took the money, 200.00 from my account and that it was taken on the 21st the day I placed the order. So now I asked when it would be back in my account, I was told three to five bussiness days.

4-01-08 I called to find out that my order was never canceled and that it will now be another three to five busseness days for a refund of my money. I asked why it was not canceled and was told that is was but not from both screens... Whatever that means... Nothing to me at this point.

At this point I ask when my money would be put back in my account.. They told me when they canceled me. But that they would surely get it to the right department and take care of it right away.

4-2-08 to no surprise I find out that again I was never canceled and that I was still in pending status. I was given to a supervisor that assured me again that I would be canceled.

4-3-08 I find out again, I am still a pending customer and that it will still be another three to five bussiness days for anything to happen and that I would get my money back when they were able to cancel me.

4-3-08 I report them to my bank and my bank refunds the money to me and tells me they will go after them now for the money.

4-4-08 I finally get ahold of a person that was able to check the box on her screen to cancel me. Hmmmmmmmm I wonder why it took so long???

Now I will leave it in the hands of my bank.. I have had enough frustration from these people!
