I ordered a scooter from Dixie Lane for $1780.00. After being lied to on serveral different occasions about when would receive it. I finally received the scooter 6 weeks after the promise date. A damage scooter.
I have been emailing Ed Williams with Dixielane for months now, as far as to getting the paperwork for the titles, so can get a tag. I was only able to get a temporary paper tag cause Ed never sent the requested info.
The scooter then after riding it only on two differnet occasions, carborator went out. I started emailing and calling Ed for assistance. Ed would occasionally respond back with lies about the warranty, and he was sending a carb to replace the broken one. I have been emailing Ed since beggining of August for the carborator that he said he was sending. Unable to ride or even get the scooter registered at this point. At thid point I'm feeling the scooter is a waste of my hard earned money.
I had the scooter placed in a shop, and waiting on part. Once I realize that I was getting no assistance from Ed. The shop had the carb rebuilt along with the choke was shot and had to be replaced. Costing me an additional $600.00 for a scooter that I have not been able to ride.
Still no response from Ed in weeks, now the numbers he originally provided me are non working, and the website has been change to totally something different. Please help; I have received nothing but a run around about this damage scooter.

He's convicted of six felony theft charges for ripping off customers in his scooter business. Now Cabot police say Eddie Williams is at it again. New charges are coming out as Williams awaits sentencing on the first charges.
Eddie Williams, 56, didn't have much to say to us when he was on trial for felony theft in September.
Why don't ya'll catch some bad crooks or something and talk to them." David Goins says: "people here say you're a crook. Is that fair?" Eddie Williams says: "i think you are!" Eddie Williams told us in September.
A Lonoke County judge said the TecBoys owner was guilty, convicting him and his wife Connie on six felony counts. However, the judge delayed sentencing until December 1. Stuart Cearley, Lonoke County Assistant Prosecutor, told FOX16 News in September he knows what he will recommend.
"It's the state position that Mr. Williams should probably go ahead to the penitentiary," Cearley.
Then Eddie Williams was re-arrested October 7th. Cabot PD says charges are pending in two other cases now. Eight new cases have come in since Williams and his wife were convicted. Witnesses were flown in from around the country for the trial many who say they never got their money back.
"You can buy or sell anything I guess and think you're going to get away with it," Clawson said in September.
Cabot PD says Williams is now using eBay and the site Econoscooters.com and complaints are coming in. I wanted to hear from Eddie Williams, but no one answered at his house.
One of his former customers says he's blown away that Williams is in business again.
"I'm almost relieved that he's provided the judge with good ammunition to say you're going to get the maximum, hope so, former customer Jim Vogel says. "The internet is necessary but, my God, get these jokers off there that are ripping people off."
