Dr. Akmakjian signed a contract with my marketing company to perform services. The agreement completely spells out the services to be performed, and I spoke with his administrator personally to explain everything as well.
My company performed the marketing services for months, and we did a great job. He was only paying per lead, so performance was on us and we did great. I have an answering service, so the leads went to his office directly. No one at his office EVER answers the phone, so they did not take the leads that way. They gave us the contact information to send the leads to, and added a second email after a few months.
After a few months I randomly received a charge back for ALL the monies charged to Dr. Akmakjian's card. Each week his office received a spreadsheet of all the leads along with a receipt. he also could listen to the phone calls for verification. I tried to speak with him or his wife about it, but they will not email or call you back - EVER.
His office staff is rude and a joke, they say one thing and do another routinely. After the charge back, I fought it and won. Within 72 hours, the money was put back into my account.
Then something happened I've never seen before. He did a second charge back. I tried to fight it, but Visa will no longer help at that point. They say you have to file a fraud charge against the client.
I am in the process of filing for a judgment against Dr. Akmakjian, but the public needs to know what a phony this guy and his office is. Just Google him and you'll see the lawsuit about uneccessary surgeries, fake hardware, other cases.
Any real up standing business would at least call me back once. I have a signed contract with very clear terms and we did a great job for him. I can't help it if his staff did not follow up on the leads. We sent them exactly where they told us to.
Avoid Dr. Akmakjian as a vendor or a patient. You will be sorry!
