Dr. Raley has a nice big new office building in Hillview & has had rave reviews, but I will warn you about him.
I went to him a few years ago after a car accident. He was a good Chiropractor, but he turned into a STALKING WEIRDO.

Dr. Raley ended up offering me this new technique w/ some kind of moving x-ray, & told me that if I would try it, he'd use it on me for free & just bill my insurance whatever because he wanted to see how it worked, too (win-win situation.)

After about a month I stopped making appointments due to a new job schedule. Then I got a HUGE bill for the moving x-ray that he talked me into using that was supposed to be free! I called the office & couldn't get any explanation, except that I had just better pay the bill. I refused. His excuse was that my insurance wasn't going to pay it so I had better. I'm sorry, but you should have considered that before you got the bright idea of offering me this big expensive service for free.
A few weeks later a co-worker of mine said that Dr. Raley had come to my work looking for me, shouting my name all over the store, telling everyone that I was about to get sued & that they should fire me.
Before long, he started showing up & harassing me on the job. He would hang around the store while I was working & come through my line asking me when I was coming back to his office, telling me I owed him money, etc.
I also quit going to my gym because of him. This guy is a real weirdo. He's even foul @ the gym. Every time I tried to work out, if he showed up, every other word out of his mouth was foul. It was insulting & disruptive. He would groan really loud & try to draw attention to himself & frankly, it was disgusting. He recently even had the nerve (after several years) to APPROACH MY HUSBAND & ask him about me. He's lucky my Husband didn't take him outside.

There is one funny thing out of all of this - The banner on the fencerow out in front of his office says "ChirACROPtic." Obviously someone could use a spelling lesson.

Go to this guy if you will, but be warned - in my experience he was a pretty creepy.

My Experience With Dr. Joseph Raley and Today's Chiropractic

AUTHOR: Dr. P - (United States)

POSTED: Thursday, March 08, 2018

In response to the accusations made regarding Dr. Joseph Raley; I thought it may be helpful to hear from an actual patient of Dr. Raley and Todays Chiropractic.  Also, this is the first time I have ever responded to anything like this online.  Personally, I have been a patient of Dr. Joseph Raley for 11 years due to major back problems and the accompanying chronic pain issues.  He has been a Godsend.  Since becoming his patient I no longer need pain medication and am able to function normally.  Dr. Raley has always been professional, kind, and given great treatment.

From experience, I can tell you that he does NOT do collections himself.  Personally, I believe these accusations and slanderous statements to be false.  As a Clinical Psychologist, I can honestly say that the person “Creeped-Out Ex-patient” describes doesn’t sound like Joseph Raley.  Also, I would have never rescheduled appointments with the madman she describes, nor would my wife continue to see this alleged psychopath.

Because of the bazaar behavior alleged by “Creeped-Out Ex-patient,” I would want to know your place of employment, speak to the coworker, and view the security tape of him doing this rant in the store, in order to believe these outlandish accusations.  It is indeed sad that someone can go online and slander a person or business and people believe it without any proof.

DR. JOSEPH RALEY IS A JOKE/PHONEY

AUTHOR: anonymous - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, September 07, 2017

Please do not trust a word that comes out of DR. JOSEPH RALEY'S MOUTH OR WHAT HE WRITES IN HIS RETUTTAL!!  He will try to use his "Christian attitude" as a front but rest assured let him explain to those whose patients (like myself) who he has sued in court like me for his phony "oh this is free" & if the insurance doesn't pay it will not cost you anything when he 1st opened up his practice.  Guess this is how he was able to open his new location across the street.  In the beginning he had father/sis working for him(good people): found out after dad passed away some years later and dad & sister left the practice that Dr. Raley had tried to take advantage of them too with same accusations (sad when you try to take advantage of your own family). Bottom line-Dr. Joseph Raley is a con; does his own billing; will take you to court if you do not pay your bill in full no matter how he may present things to you; WATCH WHAT YOU SIGN WHEN YOU WALK IN THE DOOR OR YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF!

**DR. THOMAS RALEY-HIS BROTHER IS SIMPLY THE BEST!!! MY FAMILY & I HAVE BEEN SEEING HIM SINCE BEING RIPPED OFF. HE IS HONEST, TRUTHFUL & IS LOCATED IN GERMANTOWN SQUARE.  PLEASE DO NOT GET THEM CONFUSED.

YES I HAVE REPORTED JOSEPH RALEY TO THE CHIROPRACTIC BOARD & CAN'T BELIEVE HE IS STILL IN PRACTICE.  HOW CAN 2 BROTHER'S BE SO DIFFERENT (GUESS LIKE CAIN & ABEL)

Bullying - the art of good lying

AUTHOR: Joseph - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 17, 2006

My name is Dr. Joseph Raley and I am the owner and operator of Today's Chiropractic. I would like to response to these accusations presented by as "so called" ex-patient. The reason I say "so called" is that there are a number of inconsistancies in what procedures we do at this office and what the writer declares we do.

Firstly, at this office we always verify with the insurance company what the insurances will and will not pay for. We explain this to the patient. It is recomfirmed before the patient gets anything. We like to be up front and honest with our patients. The person may have gotten (if the patient is real) a "statement" from the insurance company as to what the insurance will pay for. On the top of the statement is the wording in bold print "This is not a bill". Dear readers, you would not believe the number of times patients call stating that they received a bill when in actually it is a statement such as this. Also, as I might explain, we bill the insurance companies, we do NOT do their collecting as the reader would have you believe. Again, we provide the service , bill the insurance company, and they pay the bill. It's the patient's responsiblity to pay the copay or the co-insurance. The motion x-ray under some situations does allow the copay/ coinsurance to be waved therefore the word "free" may by thought of by the patient. I might add the Motion Study x-ray is not a new technique but has been around for a while. The "writer" was wrong on this matter. I also checked with the people at the motion study x-ray and they stated that there was no one with an out standing balance for any of my patients with them.

It was also mentioned by the reader that I went to the patient's place of business for the money that was owed. This is also not true. I use a collection agency for my patients with an outstanding balance. Therefore the writer is not giving correct information in this matter.

With regard to the gym, I go to a family friendly gym. Does the reader not question the writer of this article why then would the owners allow someone like me in there gym if I acted this way. I would have been asked to leave long ago. I would also like to mention that if the writer was correct in their accusation then why is it that the gym have four separate rooms for each person, a free weight room, cardio, aerobic, etc. If I were using "foul" language then the person must have intentionally come into the room that I was working out in. I would also like to ask the writer of the article why would the two guys who work out with me put up with my "foul" language considering that they are ministers?

Lastly, with regards to the spelling of chiropractic on a sign out sign, the sign was given to me as a gift of love and appreciation for what I had done for a patient. Obviously the write of the article is not gifted in the proper manner of excepting a gift. I put the sign out on the fence for a few weeks to make the person happy. I was aware that the sign was wrong, but decided not to offend the person by mentioning it. Dear "writer" if this is so offensive to you, I am sorry. You did not have to look at it.

I could continue with the further and in more detail the inconsistancies in the writers accusations and the facts. However, it is my belief that the write in no in actually a "true" patient but someone else who has a problem with me opening up next to them and giving them some competition.

Thank you dear reader for taking the time to listen. God Bless

Sincerely,

Dr. Joseph Raley

Dr. Raley and Today's Chiropractic

AUTHOR: Charles - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 30, 2006

In response to letter of Dr. Raley @ Today's Chiropractic. First and for most, you need to make sure that you state which Doctor Raley that you are referring to. The last time I checked there were two Doctor Raley's in the city of Louisville.

I am sorry that you had the experince in having to deal with the one that choose to handle your situation the manner that he did, but in the process you have cast a cloud over the other doctor. I believe that your doctor was Joseph Raley and not Thomas Raley.

I and my family have been patients of Dr. Thomas Raley's for the last five years and have always been treated with the up most of kindness and care. Again, I feel that you were treated badly by Dr. Joseph Raley and Today's Chiropractic and have every right to be upset and to file your comments, just make sure that you state which person or company that has done you wrong.

Chiropractors in general are not quacks!

AUTHOR: J - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, April 02, 2006

I have had a lot of experience with them. I was treated by one many years ago after an accident I had as a teenager; and hen worked for one for 7 years. They must go through a lot of training, and as a whole are very reliable. I live in Louisville and have never heard of this one.
I suggest you write to the Board of the state of Ky and report this maniac. Then find a good one. I suggest Dr. Kevin Goben.

If this is the Truth... This Raley guy has no business being in the profession.

AUTHOR: Jason - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, February 09, 2006

I am sorry that you have to deal with all that and I am surprised that your husband did not do anything after what you have been going through. One suggestion would be to look up the Kentucky Chiropractic Board and report him. Sometimes it does not help to try to smear his name in public(it can backlash, too), just go to the source and get him kicked out of his profession, which would happen if you are teeling the truth.

I just hope that this is truthful because it would really hurt the D.C.'s name!
