E-470 Public Highway Authority Licence PlateToll Express, Toll Extortionists Denver Colorado

 Extortionists. We received a bill for toll for someone we sold a car to over a year ago, including late fees because they sent the bills to our former address from the expired registration information on the old license plates until they tracked us down. "As a courtesy" they were able to remove the late fees but would accept nothing less than a NOTARIZED bill of sale to prove that we didn't own the car when the new guy incurred the tolls.

The fact that we filed a licence fraud report with the state DMV and that I have email documentation with my insurance agent that the car was sold and we transferred insurance to our new car are not enough. Thankfully that county verified that the licence plate is no longer in our name so the new owner can't continue to do this to us, but they don't provide any type of documentation and Expresstoll won't take it anyway.

These people are crooked and dishonest. This company needs to be shut down, their business practices are shady and ridiculous, they should not be able to collect tolls based on a license plate - take a picture of the driver I guarantee it wasn't us!
