earltonhill family campground unjustified treatment and harrassment by owner earlton New York

Im am very sickened by the way the owner of earltonhill family campground contucts himself with the campers,he is mostly very unfair to campers who dish out alot of money there if you camping in tents he has habit of judging youand your site .you have no rights or privicy to your own site anyone who has camped in tents knows its hard to maintian site when you are caught in storms where it down pours for days.

If you have a cooker on table and mini fridge god forbid if you have it on the picnic table owner harrasses you claiming your site is a mess and ordered to clean it or he will throw you out and ban you from there perminently.also he fails to report condition of the lake/big pond that there are leeches and eels in it along with big snapping turtles my child had leech on her freacked out i made staff aware of it and i was treated like it was no big deal.finally got child to go back in water several days later for her to only end up bit by a turtle the put damper on my vacation which i pocketed out alot of money for 2 weeks.

Also during vacation at what is surpose to be a family place it seems staff parties more then campers between getting drunk and high they like to party at night and go skinny dipping in the lake/pond,,i didnt see any families making smores sitting around fires with kids and telling stories.staff does not control their kids they tend to vandilize campers sites then owner harresses campers for it making threats and kicking them out even after campers tell owner whos damaged his property an d staff doesnt step up to ther plate and take respondsiblity for their kids actions.

the money i spent there was not worth it was harressed by owner threatened by him and wasnt able to enjoy my time there in peace,you have to be in one of the clicks with several people and kiss their butts to not be singled out,i am terminally ill and all i wanted to do is have uality time with my kids and do things they will remember and grow a closer bond with them only for them to see thier mother be judged and walked on by owner and staff to point of a break down.i really reccomend all surf the web for other camp grounds instead cause you will waste hundreds of dollars to only be treated like crap by all who are seasonal ad have campers and their own clicks they act like their all better then you because you wanna try roughing it with the family in tents

the prices or outragous,the bathrooms are very unsanitary the lake/pond is dirty and unsafe with leeches eels along with snaping turtles that bite you and god knows what else,the campground has nothing for kids to do all week they offer no activities to kids other then crafts for half hour on weekend so kids wondr all over unsupervised damaging others sites and the camper is blamed for it.to sum it up dont waste your money or your time going there if your looking for friendly people and fair treatment you wont find it at earlton hill all you will get is ripped off out of your money and wont even be able to have fun because you will have to feel like your walking on eggshells and deal with rude harressing people staff and owner that is unfair and judges people.play it smart look for some where else to go dont settle for the worst unfair outragous priced place who offers you nothing..
