I found a concession trailer on amusementtrader.com. I contacted seller who wanted to use easyconsignment.com as the escrow agent. I created an account on easyconsignment.com. All communications were with Easy Consignment, none were with the seller.
Easy Consignment sent me an invoice. I wired the money ($6000) in accordance with the directions on the invoice.
I have tried for several weeks, but Easy Consignment refuses to aswer the phone or respond to e-mails and instant messages using their online message (Live Chat) utility.
I have done further investigation and the address that they gave in their Florida coporate filings does not exist.
Additionally the Easy Consignement drop-off sites that they cite on their website also do not seem to exist.
The tipoff should have been that their website is hosted by Voxility S.R.L. based in Romania.
Do not use Easy Consignment for escrow under any circumstances!
