This company charged me for an open line of credit on a credit card. I did not apply for that service. I contacted my bank to see why my checking account was in the negative. I contacted the company to cancel this 3 ring circus. I was told that the situation would be taken care of and issued a cancellation number.

The next thing you know I was charged yet again for their service. I contacted this company once again and was given a story about the time difference. My account was cancelled at 11:52 but the processing for the day was done at 11:00. I spoke to someone named Cory I explained the situation to him. I asked what they could do about the fees that my account had been charged. The amount was $90.00. He basically told me I was screwed because of the time difference. I told him about the web site to lodge this complaint. His response was pretty much oh well, people complain everyday.

I hope whoever reads this if you see elcubusa on any correspondence that you recieve via e-mail do not open it. How may people have they scammed ?Just think if it were 1000 people and they recieved 45.99 from each person. Will we just wait for eclubusa to screw us all? When will they stop if we don't speak up???

It is true that there was a payment that processed on his account an hour before the cancellation occured. Once a payment is processed there isn't anything we can do to stop it from posting to their account. If this charge had cleared we would issue a refund as we do on all charges. They stated to me that the charges would not clear.

If there is an error on our part we would cover the NSF fees they incurred, but in this case there was no error on our part. What i tried to explain to the consumer is that in order for us to have information in our database or to charge an account someone has to provide that information to us online and authorize our charges. Our online join pages have fraud preventative security features on them, but unfortunately if someone knows the consumers name, social and date of birth it is impossible for us to know if it is a true sign up or a fraudulent one.

NSF fees are fees that banks charge, not us. If a consumer feels that he did not join then he has the right to file a dispute at his bank against the charges. The bank will then return the fees they charged. The consumer nor our company are responsible for fraudulent charges and this is what I was trying to explain to them.

In regards to the statement about complaints on websites like this one. What i actually said was that writing a complaint is a consumers right, but that 95% of the complaints regarding our service are done prior to being contacted by the consumer and are always resolved.

We do our best to try to assist people in situations like this and give them the information they need to resolve the issue. We cannot police the internet or assume that sign ups are fraudulent if the information is correct. Only the consumer would know if it is truly fraud or not, but we always place our number next to every charge so if there are concerns they can call us.
