Hello Everyone,

I wanted to let you all know about the Elite Image/Hottest Model Unlimited website or talent for the reason that I fell for this scam in 2009. I am a girl who is doing modeling as a hobby and wants to get known eventually and this company really fooled me. I got this email from a women so called Karen Slade and told me that if I would like to compete for this title Hottest Model Competition and that it would really be my chance to get known. And well at the time it sounded great! This competition was held at Turks and Caicos Island, great island and beautiful no lie.

Well she required a payment of like $2000 or so that supposedly covered a photoshoot and the stay of the hotel etc.. well my mother spent SOOO much money on this trip it was unbeliveable now I look at it like I wish I knew then what I know now about modeling scams. Ok so continuing with this scam , there was different people that were involved who were clueless as well and well we all tried our best and what not because she often mentioned how there was going to be different companies in this place so we had to do our very best to make an empression ok? Yea. She had classes that of course I participated and well you had to pay for it as well.

So then the day of the photoshoot came and turned out that we had to pay the photographer $400 up front in order for him to do our shoot, yes they did our makeup and what not but at that point everyone got really concerned about the $2000 supposedly covering for the shoot and it was nothing like that. Of course some girls and boys did pay that money just for nothing, no one even got their pictures delivered. So then the competition finally came around, there were people watching but never did I know if they were agents from Ford, Elite, etc so then the results came in and guess what?

I was the winner for the so called Hottest Models Competition, at the moment I was like WOW!! and super excited because they claimed that if you won they would give you $1500 plus expose you to many agents. Karen Slade then came up to me telliing me that Tommy Hilfiger was there and really liked me for their catalog work and now I felt like this is really happening!! I was in shock. She said that the money would take a while to arrive to my address and so I believed it and said oh ok. So the next day came along in which everyone was getting ready to leave and head back home.

Karen Slade went on to tell me that she would call me and let me know more information about the catalog job with Tommy Hilfiger and I trusted her. I went home really excited and got a call from Karen Slade to let me know more information and she said that she would call me back again to give me the next step and from then on she NEVVVER CALLED AGAIN and I even texted her and emailed her and nothing. Well the group that went to Turks and Caicos Island kept in touch and they asked me how it was going and if anything happened and I told them No. They said they were going to make a lawsuit to sue her because she took a lot of peoples money!

So then one day I emailed her and (I still have the emails to prove it), telling her that if she didnt get back to me and if I didnt get my money for winning that I would sue her and then she finally replied saying some bull about going bankruptcy and that her grandma passed away I was like WHATT! and that was it. Never did I hear back from her and I really want others to read this and not sign up for this scam! She really makes you believe that it real and that you have potential and if you are innocent girl or boy trying to get into this industry I am telling you with all honesty that this one wont get you anywhere and she will get all the money she asks from you.

No modeling would tell you to pay upfront or pay photographers if they were legit. Please women and men boys and girls DO NOT FALL INTO THIS SCAM. She needs to be stopped right away. I have been trying to spread the word about this and if you read this please pass it on. I got hurt and even tried to give up in becoming a model because this really made me feel awesome since I supposedly won and then just to know it was a lie. She stole so much money from the people who were part of this event and got away from it. Oh and the reason I decided to finally make a report was because now I know how to and I just received another email from them to do the same thing but now they have different locations. Crazy! The women who sent me the email was Lisa Wade. Becareful everyone and beware of this. Thanks

Kelly?? Who..

AUTHOR: jsalinas - ()

POSTED: Friday, June 21, 2013

Hello,

First of all who are you Kelly? I don't even know you at all!

I want to just say that I am definitely not a "LIAR".I have no reason to lie, especially since I am even asking ANYTHING in return and I am not interested in anything at all. However I was offered to attend another event and I turned it down because I wasn't interested. I never changed my story, just edtited my previous report to remove someones name since it was irrevelant and we emailed each other constantly and came to an agreement of revising my prior report and I did. I am aware if things changed in the company or what ever and that's great! I just wrote my personal experience and that is all there is to it. Nothing more, nothing less.

Goodbye :)

#3 UPDATE Employee ..inside information

She is Lair and Changed her story twice to not be SUED by the company

AUTHOR: MiXX Global Publicity and Media - ()

POSTED: Friday, June 21, 2013

This model is a big liar, bitter, hot-tempered and also waited four years to post something against the company.

She was contacted and offered to attend. All fees are given prior to accepting this competition. We do not encourage models to make side deals with the photographer however since she did that was her decision.

There was one overall winner for the competition the judges gave two name for a male and female winner. We felt it would be fair to split the winnings but the male winner was not having it. So Karen was going to pay her out of her own pocket until this model started calling her a scam. She was posting lies all over the place. Karen tried to reach out to her but after the model started call the competition a scam Karen stopped. She told Tommy Hilfiger the model wasn't professional and was not longer available.

This model cannot have it both ways she can't talk bad about a company then expect them to still help her. If you read the first post she claimed she was asked by the company to pay for additional shoot at the competition then changed and said the photographer asked her. Which one is it? We never had fees of $2000 to attend our events which is another lie.

She had potential but with her attitude she will continue to stay small time no major client would work with a person that lies and call a company a scam because she did not get what she wanted. Lisa emailed her and politely and told her that if she did not edited or remove the 1st post that the company would take further actions so she posted the other one but left out her own actions she posted against Karen which made her no longer wanted by the company. Even after her lies, Lisa did tell her if she wanted we could bring her back at no cost but she said no. Karen want nothing to do with this model and wishes her the best.

Revised and Edited: Elite Image/ Hottest Models Unlimited

AUTHOR: jsalinas - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, May 22, 2013

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to edit my report I made earlier because I found the actual information and wanted to let you know.. At the time I was just writing without reading back to my emails I had from this company from 2010. First of all,  I just want to say that at the time of doing this competition it was being organized or not so organized by Karen Slade NOT Lisa Wade.

However, when I went to this competition in Turks and Caicos Island was a good experience only because I got to travel and got to see a beautiful island that I've never seen before. But other than that my experience in the Hottest Model International Competition was not good. I want to begin by telling you what I spent for this trip, (and now I wish I had never done it since I never got anything in return as promised) Karen Slade wrote to me or Finalist as quoted "If your are receiving this email you are accepted as a finalist to compete. As a finalist we will cover your 5 Star Resort Accomodations, all of your food beverages, ground transportation to and from the resort, a mini photo shoot with hair and makeup included- with an A-listed Published photographer, entry fee into the competition, all of your VIP parties and activities. This total package is now valued at $2500 you will only be responsible for some of the 21% international sales tax, Club Med membership and travel insurance for only $525 and your own airfare." So ok that was that for the costs, but also if you planned on bringing a guest and signing up for extra services such as 12 keys to modeling workshop, acting workshop, etc. then it was extra. Of course I did not want to go to another part of the country without someone so I wanted to bring my mother and for her it cost $579.99. I did extra services which I purchased separately at Turks and Caicos Island. The flights at that time cost me like $628 or so each person and that was two of us so in total was $1,256 in total with taxes. Since I signed up for additional services, Karen Slade told me that wardrobe would be provided to me but just incase to bring my own clothes and well I did not get any wardrobe so good thing I brought my own clothes. So finally I arrived to Turks and Caicos Island and well it was true that I got transportation to and from the airport, the hotel was all inclusive so yes the food and beverages were included. The mini shoot as mentioned was provided with hair and makeup except apparently at the event something didn't go as planned and the complimentary or mini shoot provided at this trip was never delivered because the photographer wanted money for it upfront and everyone thought Karen Slade had taken care of that with our price of $525 and we didn't receive those pictures. Then the photographer said that I could do a photoshoot on my own with my own clothes because the complimentary shoot was only swimsuit so I decided yea I should just incase the whole complimentary shoot dilemma doesn't get resolved, and he asked me to pay him $400 and my mother gave him a check so that was that for the expenses. I never received my complimentary pictures I had taken with my swimsuit,  only the ones I paid for upfront and none were fixed or retouched.

Then came the actual competition which would conclude the "winner" to become the Hottest  International Model. One of my additonal services were to model Glamour/Lingerie so I did that first and so on, finally came the drum roll and my name (female) was mentioned but then a male name (which i forgot his name)was also mentioned and everyone was confused because there was only supposed to be one winner. Well I thought it was ok no biggie. The winner of this competition was supposed to receive $1500 plus get exposed to clients that were in the competition (another thing I never saw any agents at the competition). So then Karen Slade got me on the side and told me that I was the actual winner but that they made a mistake and I said oh ok that's fine and she told me if it was ok if we split the money in half and I was fine with it. Later that night, Karen Slade came up to me saying that Tommy Hilfiger were really interested in me for catalog work and that she would give me more details about it after Turks and Caicos Island. You could only imagine how I felt that night when I won part of the title and that Tommy Hilfiger was supposedly interested in me! I was soooo excited and overwhelmed.

The day came to take off from Turks and Caicos Island and well Karen Slade told me she would stay in touch to give me more information as mentioned before and I trusted her because at the time I felt she was a really nice person who kept her word. When I arrived to the states and home I was waiting to hear from her anxiously and I emailed her and texted her but I never heard back from her until later one day she called me and said that I would have to go to New York because the Tommy Hilfiger company was located there and I was all for it and so excited and she said well I will let you go for now and keep in touch. After that call everything went to hell. She sent an email to everyone about how she was having A LOT of problems and hard times. She mentioned that she was embarrassed and what not. So I felt bad for her and just said Im sorry and at the time I decided to just understand. Then she told me through email that the reward money which was half $750 was going to arrive in 90 days. I waited and nothing not even for the job from Tommy Hilfiger, she never got back to me and just told us through email that she went bankrupt, so yea that's pretty much what happened and she even told me that she was sorry about all this and that once she gets back on her feet that she would give me what was told, but once again it never happened.

Karen Slade made me believe I was going to be big in the industry and I was so excited because I have been trying for so long, especially since I live in small town where there isn't modeling agencies and I work indepedently and that is tough. I have never been part of a situation like the one I went through in 2010. It had affected me mentally for a while and brought me down a little. Later I just picked myself up and I'm currently continuing one of my life long dreams to become known through print modeling, etc. but it has not been an easy task. I write this today because I want to share my experience of what happened to me and want you all to be aware and search before getting involved. I wish I could've done the things I do now to prevent scams but its never too late to learn.

Question: Are these models also available for serious relationship leading to marriage?

AUTHOR: Questioner - ()

POSTED: Monday, May 20, 2013

I would hope that they would be.  I do not say this jokingly.  There are serious men who are interested in treating model women really well and I would be happy to get an answer about such.

(Yes I know the site deals with modeling but my question is if these models are indeed looking for more such as a future serious relationship)
