i purchased a battery for my pwc, when i received battery all but one of the filler caps came out,i called them they wanted me to drill out caps and they would send me new caps, so i sent the battery back, they sent a second battery,to me only to have the same problem, but with three caps this time, so i talked with elliot the owner he instructed me to send it back with his shipping number ,by ground ,the ups store sent it back next day , so now microbattery.com is holding $40.00 dollars of my refund, and i still do not have a battery,i will no longer do buisness with this company and urge others to be very careful in the future,
Bob

#4 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Customer was treated fairly and equitably.

AUTHOR: Microbattery.com - (U.S.A.)

The customer was treated very fairly and the company lost double the customer's purchase price. We sent this customer two new batteries and he managed to damage both of them. The manufacturer reports no defect such as the one the customer described and we have sold thousands of these batteries without a single report of such a defect, except from Mr. Bob. Upon recieving back the two damaged batteries we noted the customer applied too much pressure to remove the battery caps and he managed to damage and embedd several of them on each battery. The customer originally paid for shipping only once, yet we incurred four separate shipping charges. Upon returning the damaged replacement battery the customer neglected our instructions to return the battery UPS ground and had it shipped UPS Next Day Delivery at great expense to us. We billed the customer only a portion of the Next Day shipping charges. None-the-less, the customer believes he is entitled to a full refund. We are a reputable company in business for over 18 years. We have over 100,000 satisfied customers. Microbattattery.com reviews are available at Epinions.com.
