Emerton Resource Group - Emerton Group - Callaton Financial ripoff bad credit loans credit insurance scam Toronto Ontario

If you try to apply for a loan via Callaton Financial Services, you will be contacted by Emerton Group. I was contacted by Steve Kelly. Emerton Group will say that you are approved for a loan and send you the loan agreement which they state is a "legally binding contract". They will be very nice and answer all questions that you have.

They will then ask you to send money via money gram to an individual...in my case her name was Deborah Cassidy for the credit insurance. Once that is received they state your loan will be deposited into the bank account you choose or they will send you a cashiers check.

The money will never come. They told me that I should have my money on 2/28/06. I called Steve Kelley and advised him that the money wasn't in my account. He advised me that the insurance company had stated that they needed a copy of my ID or DL...why do they need that-this is all done online..they don't know who I am... I immediately stated that he could just send me my money back that I sent in immediately. Mr. Kelley stated that a customer service rep would contact me by the end of the week and that they would refund me the $850.00 that they scammed me out of.

Mr. Kelley asked why I was cancelling this and I told him they were frauds and his response was that he had worked for their company for 4 years and he assured me they were reputable.

I am so angry at myself for allowing myself to be scammed so bad. I doubt I will see my money again. BEWARE if they contact you...I spoke with a Steve Kelley and Thomas Goodrich.

It is a shame that these types of people can get away with this....they need to be STOPPED!!!
