Empire Today Hardwood finish is peeling Nationwide

Empire installed their scraped engineered hardwood floors thoughout my main level. Less then 2 years the finish started peeling. Call Empire to complain, 1st was told it would be $95 for someone to come and inspect the floors.

2nd -made the appt on a saturday and they were a no-show. No call.

3rd- another appt they sent 2 non-english speaking installers to view and take pictures of the floor. (note the problem wasnt with the installation)

4th-They sent a "independant" inspector (note:sent & paid by Empire)

5th- this independant inspector took pictures and caught him taking pictures of our dog crate(we knew then where this was going)

6-get a call approx. a week later that the finish on the floors are peeling beacuse of our dog.

NOW 1-the salesman said this floors were the BEST for people who owned anipeeling placesmals.

2-the finish is peeling where there are NO scrapes from the dog. *see pictures*its actually going in a different direction

3-on our landing where the dogs run down the steps there are NO places where it is peeling.

So if this was a case of animals nails digging into and causing the finish to peel wouldnt it peel where there are scratches???

Empire will not return our calls!
