I saw an add on the internet for a "Risk Free-Trial Sample" of a product called Envie Skin cream.  Shipping and handing was the only charge.  The product sounded helpful, so I ordered it.  When I ordered the cream, it added on "Alesse" eye serum which I did not want).  I tried several times to remove the eye serum and finally just figured I would eat the shipping and handling on that product.  So the product arrives; I try it for 3 days and find the cream does not absorb (greasy) and the eye serum is "runny."  Therefore I made the decision not to reorder this product as I beleive it to be ineffective.

The next thing I know a box arrives. I open it to find another jar of the face cream!  The next day I receive another box, this time with the name Alesse (eye serum) on it which I did not open.  I call the company and speak to a woman who seemed to think it was rather amuzing that i "did not read the fine print."  She stated that I agreed to receive both of their products, as they did not hear back from me to cancel my order within 12 days.  I told her the purpose of the "Risk Free - Trial" was just that.  That I tried the product, was dissatisfied and therefore would not have ordered more.  She told me there was nothing that they could do.  I asked to speak to the supervisor which she also seemed to find amuzing and said, "I don't know why you want to talk to her, she is just going to tell you the same thing.  You agreed to our terms when you tried our sample."  I reminded her again that it was risk free and then was told that the cream was 100.00 and the eye serum (which was never openned and remains in the UPS box) was I believe 90.00  and it had already been chrged to my charge card!.  I told her, I did not open the cream but had openned the (Envie) UPS box.  I told her I did not open the Alesse UPS box and was going to send it back.  She told me that would not be smart as I would have to pay a restocking fee of $9.95 and would still becharged for the product.  I told her that was ridiculous, that I at the very least should be allowed to return the UPS box that was never openned.

She then compared the "Tylenol murders with my returning the eye serum."  That the FDA does not allow that because of what happened with the tampering of Tylenol.  I could not believe she would even compare some face cream and eye serum to the Tylenol murders. I feel this company is totally misleading and at the very least dishonest.  sadly, they are probably going to make a significant amount of money in a short amount of time and then shut down like most scams do.  I feel sad that I was one that fell into this scam as I am elderly and should know better.
