In early Feb. 2006, I rec'd a call from eResultsInc.com promising high (Top Ten) rankings in the major search engines. I was sceptical, and asked dozens upon dozens of questions about just how they could help my website improve its visibility in the WorldWideWeb. They had me type in several keywords in Google, and of course when I saw these keywords reveal top ten placement for some of their current successful customers...I was impressed. When I questioned their longevity and credibility, they directed me to the BBBOnline.com to 'prove' that they were clean and had no complaints against them. I eventually agreed and they faxed me a contract to sign and return to them. They were giving me a "deal" at $1850 for these optimization services. I told them I could only afford $1000 now, but in 6 months could make monthly payments until the remaining $850 was paid off.

The contract I signed CLEARLY states these terms. When my credit card statement showed up, the whole $1850 had been billed, maxing out my card. I tried for several weeks to contact various people in the company to straighten this out, but I was not successful and am still making payments. Fast forward to Sept. 2006, WELL beyond the lengthy email I rec'd from them telling me it would take 12-14 weeks for optimization to take place. I go into their website to check my reports, only to find after 7 MONTHS, my placements don't show up in Google at all, and one placement (which I could not find)was reported to be somewhere in Yahoo! There were a few dozen other rankings scattered across a handful of other search engines, but all-in-all it was a pretty dismal showing. One keyword of mine did, however catch my eye. It described my website being a l*****n store and a fast-growing source for Gays and Lesbians. I sell artwork of transportation. This has nothing to do with me, so I tried in vain to contact them to get this removed with NO_Results! A call to 877-500-1614 now gets you an earful of screeching data instead of the voice that was there months ago. Repeated emails keep going un-answered, and I really couldn't afford that $1850, but the attractive sales pitch they gave me on the phone in Feb. was to the effect that I could at least sell 3 or 4 prints a month by this time.....I have had ONE inquiry which resulted in a sale so far this year. Well at least that's thirty bucks I can use to pay off the credit card. I am just VERY disgusted, and I wish there was something I could do to re-coop my losses from these CROOKS! I just don't know if anything can be done.
