Everhome Mortgage Company, Jacksonville, FL

I am quite disheartened by Everhome Mortgage Company operations, customer service, and management performance with handling the mortgages that they have purchased over the last few years.

I do have advice: Fight to the death!

Keep records of everything. If mailing out payments, mail by certified return receipt mail. Expensive yes, but worth it. Keep copies of every payment made.

Search for lawyers that deal with real estate codes/law. It's expensive but worth it.

Hire a forensic Accountant. They will go over the history of your loan. Have your loan documents, payments, etc., ready for them.

Ask Everhome for a copy of your loan history. Give it to your accountants. You may be surprised by what they find! Once again, Expensive but worth it!

Contact your local State Department of banking, Attorney General's Office, Etc.. and file complaints. Time consuming but worth it.

Remember to keep copies of everything... Real Estate tax bills, Insurance bills, payments, return receipts for mailing, annual escrow statements, 1096's, 1099's, anything and everything that comes in from Everhome, Attorneys and accountants...

It takes money to fight. Start setting money aside for the fight of your life!

Go ahead, I challenge everyone to find out what has been happening in your accounts.

If they do try to work things out with you, make sure your attorney sees their correspondence/work out.

Yes, I do believe that some of the practices performed by this company should be addressed by Class Action Suits. The complaints on many message boards indicate this action would be beneficial to all of us.

Everhome Mortgage is not Better Business Bureau affiliated

According to the Better Business Bureau site, complaints have been received against Everhome, however, Everhome may not be a member of the BBB.

I say file complaints with your state departments of banking, ie: Pennsylvania Banking Regulatory Commission, Attorney General's Office, and once you have their attention, contact the media!

Don't give up. It's a lot of work that they're betting on you won't do.

Pay attention to your state legislators too. Make sure they aren't creating laws to benefit companies like this. Check on your Senators and Congressmen too!
