Excellent Fence/Matthew Periera/M&D Fencing This guy has no honor...Horrible fence job, damage to my new pavers, fence sinking, ect. Leonardo New Jersey

Mr. Matthew Pereira of Excellent Fence was hired by me to install a white vinyl fence in the driveway at my residence. The installation took place on Tuesday, May 31st, 2016. There are several issues with the installation:

·   There was a hole erroneously drilled into one of my newly installed pavers.

·   The fence is unstable and extremely wobbly.

·   The fence is damaged, has scuffs, scratches and dents.

·   Mistake drill holes were made in the fence itself.

·   There are exposed holes in the covers of the post sleeves. There should not be any visible holes.

·   Cement was discarded by Defendant and dried up in my landscaping, ruining my mulch and shrub that had to be replaced.

·   The first fence post was installed about a 1 foot to the left of where it should have been installed, rendering the fence off center from the edge of the house.

·    The driveway door of the fence does not sit flush against the posts, the door is misaligned.

·    One of the fence posts is sinking and as more time passes, it gets more uneven.

All the scraps from the job were illegally dumped into my neighbors commercial dumpster located in his driveway across the street from my residence!! I was extremely embarrassed to say the least.        

I have begged and pleaded with Matthew Periera to come and fix the mistakes that he made and to pick up the scraps that were illegally dumped in my neighbors dumpster to no avail. He has promised to show up numerous times only to continually be a no show. Now, they do not pick up the phone when I reach out and call them. This has been going on for a month now.  Matthew Periera is actually a full time Mechanic at an Autobody shop in Keyport, NJ. The defendant used to do business under the name 'M&D Fencing' but now operates under the alias 'Excellent Fence'. As per the Department of Environmental Protection, the defendant was previously arrested and charged with illegal dumping and illegal transportation of solid waste at the Leonardo State Marina in the town of Leonardo, NJ in which he resides.
