June 24, 2009 went to dealership in Winchester VA to purchase a vehicle I had found for my husband through a auto magazine. I contacted the dealership before we left because we live approx. 1.5 hrs away and explained we had poor credit and wanted to insure financing before we even came to look. Alan the sales rep. instructed us on what information to bring and stated no problem.

Filled out the credit app. on arrival and 2-3 hours later he stated it was a done deal. My husband ask several times if everything went through and they assured us it did. The next day we had to return to sign some documents as the night before they ran out of paper and could not print everything (red flag). Alan contacted my husband a day or 2 later and stated they had gotten us a low interest rate to return to sign the paper work and our payment would be less (GREAT!) After signing the paper work they then called the next day requesting more information but assured my husband the financing was complete. My husband believeing the dealership changed the oil and filters, had the truck scanned for the keyless entry code and purchased a amp for the stereo because when we purchased the vehicle the stereo didn't work do to the amp. missing. The dealership had agreed to pay my husband $200 for the amp to get the stero working.

3 weeks later the dealership calls requesting more information and at this point we had returned a total of 2 times to sign paperwork. My husband was very upset at this point at stated to Alan never mind I'm bringing your truck back and I want my turck back. Alan tried to change my husbands mind but in the end agreed and stated to my husband that he would reimburse us for the oil change and amp. since these were things they would have had to do anyway. When we returned the truck and I ask Alan about the Check he stated Simie would have to cut the check from the main office but he would see that it got done ASAP.

My husband and I have both spoken with Simie on 5 different occasions in which she assured us the check was in the mail. The last time I personally spoke with her she stated none of this would have been neccasary if my husband would not of lied on his credit application about his gross income.

Now if you will remember I told them right off our credit was poor and that my husband was self employed. She stated to me that our gross was not what was listed on our taxes after deductions (duh) and that my husband had not verfied his income. We provided them with bank statements, taxes, 1099, and pay stubs from our broker. That was just for my husband. I told her I was not going to agrue with her and only wanted our money. She placed me on hold and came back on and said Andy the company owner would be in the next day and he would personally see to it that I got reimbursed now just for the amp.

1 month later I'm still waiting for my money. They also listed the truck as a one owner vehicle ( they left recipts in the dash with names on them. When my husband contacted the names on the reciepts it was 2 previous owners) The truck was also listed as lifted which also was incorrect the truck was stock with Rancho shocks.

Bottom line Rip Off Lie cheat and steal is what they have done to my family and will do the same to yours.

Alan you can NOT be serious...

They PROVED $4000 a month and you kept having them come back to re-do paperwork??

If they make more and don't report it (how would you know?) how is that any concern of yours?

Once the financing is done and the paperwork signed and delivered to the buyer, you are done, YOUR involvement is complete.

Sounds to me a LOT like a spot delivery scam...
