I haven't received a copy of my homeowners or commerical insurance policy since 2003. Every year, I call my agent to complain, and he tries to double-bill me and blame the problems on me.
Each year, the insurance is never paid on time because the agent didn't submit the right forms to the mortgage company. Our mailing address submitted by the agent has also been incorrect since 2004.
With the lack of any copies of the insurance policies, we don't think we have ever been insured with Farmers. We are very disappointed in Farmers Insurance, and I urge everyone to avoid doing business with them at all costs.

Where to begin with the problems in this report. First of all, you expect us to believe that you were disgruntled with your insurance company for 5 years before you decided to change, that you for 5 years believe that you were not insured even though you were making payments. What mortgage company would allow you to go 5 years without being insured? Any homeowner knows that the second you drop your insurance carrier on your home the mortgage company will contact you demanding you get your home insured. Second, you claim that every year your agent fails to submit the paperwork to the mortgage company thus resulting in late payments. Your agent never submits this paperwork to the mortgage company and unless you are changing mortgage companies yearly then there is no reason to resubmit this information to the mortgage company anyways. If you are changing mortgage companies yearly or refinancing your home yearly then it is up to you to make sure the mortgage company gets the information needed. Not the agent. it really is a shame that companies, good or bad, get bad reputations because of false claims and accusations. Clearly this is completely without merit and anyone that has a home or understands business can see that the claims here are not legitimate. Seriously, 5 years without being insured on a mortgaged home even though you have been making payments? you really expect us to beleive this?
