I hired Fast Relocation for a move from Long Beach to Connecticut. I was quoted a price of $1000 but if I wanted everything bubble wrapped it would cost and additional $150. So now the total was 1150.
I had hired a helper to have everything prepared for the movers when they arrived on June 15th. I even wrapped delicate items. Alex one of the movers was wrapping my fragile lamp with saran wrap. When I said that it should be wrapped with bubble paper he ignored me.
My helper had an emergency and I gave him a ride and came back 20 minutes later. The storage was closed. Great I thought it had all been done and I was happy and relieved.
On monday morning I receive a call from my storage manager asking me what all the things were doing in the hallway and my storage unit that was left open. I was in shock.
To make a very long story short I spoke to Jessica and she said she knew nothing about it. She suggested I call Mike. I explained the situation to Mike and he said he would call me back.I told him I wanted all my things back as after everything that had happened I not longer trusted this company. He was not apologizing as I though he would he was yelling. I told him I had a migraine from all the stress and his answer was "me too" He told me he was the owner and he made $50,000 a month and did not care about my stuff because his business was closing at the end of the month. Mike goes by Cohen (?) and is a dispatch/supervisor not an owner as he claims.
I agreed after several days after many threats that I would pay him a total of $1900 when everything was delivered to Connecticut. First he agreed but then he said he wanted $1250 in credit card and the rest in cash before delivery. He said he wanted all the $1900 before he would deliver. I called Mike on Saturday as I suspected the truck would be there (Connecticut) an all he did was yell. I told him he would give him $1250 when he delivered the items and the rest when his movers got the remainder of my things from Long Beach. I got an email from Jessica today from her office that my things were someplace in Connecticut in storage and I would have to pay a lot of additional fees. Mike told me they would be auctioned off.
I have been in bed taking strong pain medication for almost 6 days because I injured my back trying to get a huge piece of furniture back into storage that they neglected to do. What company just leaves your things unattended and does not even bother to call?
I am sick over this. I am a two time cancer survivor and cannot take any more stress.
I hope your company can help people like myself. I also believe they are doing this to the elderly which is a disgrace.
I called the BBB and they said that Fast Relocation was rated as a "D" and had many complaints. Why don't you get together with the BBB. Something has to happen to make people think twice before scamming others.

I forgot to mention Fast Relocation Fax: 818-881-2123
Jessica Lopez (Secretary) 818-881 2121
Mike Cohen (questionable) 818-200 5525 and 818 200 5521 818-991 1904
I also failed to include in my report that when my storage company called me on Monday to inform me that a lot of my belongings were left behind I immediately called Fast Relocation to speak to Jessica. The voice mail said "Enter your pin number". I called five times and got the same voice mail. After talking to several agencies we all concluded it sounded like a scam.
Since I had given Jessica Lopez all my credit card information (It is a credit card issued from Spain) I had to call Spain to cancel it. This took me over two hours.
Mike said I had to pay by credit or cash I explained to him that I had just cancelled my credit card and had to pay a fee of $100 to have another one sent to me.
Now I am also responsible for paying for storage.
It has been a total nightmare and I hope that your company can give them what they deserve.
Anna
