I'm writing with a complaint about your company's billing and handling of damaged/lost/misplaced shipments. I hope bringing this to your attention will result in some action. This problem has made me extremely angry.

Here's my story: Last year I shipped a digital camera FedEx Ground, the box showed up empty. FedEx paid without a problem. This year I shipped a set of 4 car wheels FedEx Ground. 2 wheels in each of 2 boxes (65lbs each). Both went missing, at different locations in the system. One was finally found and returned almost 2 months later. Obviously I had to refund my customer and couldn't really sell 2 wheels, which where opened and partially damaged. I contacted FedEx through email, phone and fax. FedEx finally notified me that they did not believe that they owed me anything as the product was returned. The refund FedEx offered for the 1st package, that was completely lost, was not even the right amount. FedEx couldn't even get their shipping carge correct. It was only about 25c off, but since FedEx billed the shipping charge, you would think they should be able to get that right !!!

I also notified customer service and their billing department that they had incorrectly billed me $11 pickup charges multiple times, even though I drop my shipments off at my local Pak Mail where I have my business mailbox. 3 months later, still no response and they are still charging me $11 fees. Time to completely drop FedEx..... I have heard of other people with similar issues and it maybe time to start a class action, it is obvious that FedEx is nickeling and diming their customers for extra profit from multiple angles, I have personally experienced;

1. Extra charges for pickups that were in fact drop offs that Pak Mail has already paid fo

2. Refusal to pay insurance claims and questionable practices involving opening customer shipments

3. Incorrectly refunding shipping amounts that are less than the shipping amount billed

Here's how you can help: Refund all 11 errant $11 charges. Correct the 1st package refund amount. Refund me for the 2nd package and its shipping cost. Correct the fraudulent billing system NOW !!!
