What is REALLY with these Anz & Associates??!! I read that their initial "retainers" may vary from $1000 to (mine) $3500...with another $695 if they "negotiate a second lein!!!:( SOme people in this report are only being asked for $2900....full cost!!!!

Ok, Today, after talking to another telemarketer agent for Anz, I had their contract uploaded to my email. Ten pages. Haven't read all of it yet but will report after I do. Just noticed the $3500 plus $695 right away.

I did discover (through said 'agent') this site for the California Bar: www.calbar.ca.gov. When this pops up, you will see the bar license and other info on Anz. If you enter #183324 at the prompt in the upper right hand corner, you may get more information. His name is John Anz Nabile...I think in that order.

Now, is it really legal for attorneys to demand the majority of their fee for "negotiations"? I've never met an attorney who charges this exhorbitant fee before any work is done. Any more help out there?

IT IS 100%ILLEGAL TO ACCEPT ANY MONEY AT ALL BEFORE THE MODIFICATION IS COMPLETE!!!
. Under california law, it is illegal to collect money from home owners in connection with loan modification, before the loan modification services are complete. The law clearly states that if this happens you are entitled to nine times her actual damages precisely to prevent the type of illegal and fraudulent conduct engaged in by FLM. See Revised California Civil Code 2945.
do not do business with them!! i autorize 1000 dollars and when i tried to cancel my "mod"with them because the bbb told me to get out and run and they had been lying to me for over a month. that day 12 hrs after i told them i didnt want there help anymore they took 5100$ out of my bank account. they had written down info from my orrigional check and used it to steal from me!!
