I purchased 12 rechargeable 18650 batteries (for flashlights) from The Fenix Store.  These batteries cost $22.00 each & should last at least 500 charge cycles.  They only lasted 5-10 charges, then they would not hold a charge.  On two of the batteries, the plastic coating started to peel off, making them too dangerous to use.

A company Representative first told me, "Too bad, they're out of warranty."  When I complained again, another company representative told me he was disappointed at how I was treated by the previous employee & they fired him.  Then he admitted that my defective batteries were "used up" batteries that other customers had returned & that was why they wouldn't hold a charge & they "no longer sell returned batteries."  He offered me a 30% discount on replacement batteries, which was ridiculous; why would I pay to replace their defective batteries?  I suggested they sell me replacement batteries at a 50% discount & they refused.

I'll NEVER do any more business with The Fenix Store or buy any Fenix flashlights or batteries.  If they sell you defective ones, they won't make it right; they'll just ask you to pay more.

AFter Fenix initially refused my offer to resolve this matter by purchasing replacement batteries at a 50% discount, I responded, "I'm done with Fenix & I'll be sure to warn others."  The next day, I received an e-mail from Fenix, accepting my offer & I purchased 8 replacement batteries at a 50% discount.
