We have had this card for about four years. A few months ago we had severe financial problems and couldn't make a couple of payments. We started with a credit limit of $500. With the $35 each overlimit, (only over because of not making a payment), and late fees every month the balance has ballooned to over $1,000 at this point.
We have asked them repeatedly to close the card so that the overlimit fees would stop and we might have a chance to get it back under control, but they flat refuse to close the account, saying that as long as there was a balance they won't close it.
We have not used this card in over two years. They want a minimum payment of over $600 as of this point in time. From another post here I went to look at their reviews at http://www.cardoffers.com and found 149 reviews with a rating of 1.72 out of 5. That's quite a large number of reviews for a small company. Obviously something needs to be done about this company. Please Help! Thanks so much for your time.
