I signed up for this credit card hoping it would help build my credit. The only thing this card did was hurt my credit!

The card limit was suppose to be for $250. When I received the card it had a limit of $50. $200 had been already charged to the card for activation fees.

I used the $50 on the card and then made a $50 payment. Then I used the card for $20, then they cut me off of being able to access my account online and I couldn't use it anywhere.

Now they won't stop calling. They call everyday and in just one day's time I have counted 5-10 calls from this company stating that I need to pay or this is going on my credit report.

I do not remember seeing anywhere that there would be $200 charged to the card before I even got it. If I had seen that, there is NO WAY I would have signed up for this card!

I would advise anyone even thinking about getting this card --DON'T -- this is the worse card you could ever get!

These programs are great

AUTHOR: Charles - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, June 15, 2007

These programs are great. 2 years ago my credit score was in the low 600. I did not get a card threw first premier I paid on time for years due to me paying on time for 12 months. I was able to get a new credit card without them charging
$250 to your card.

I paid both cards ontime for two years know sense 02/2005 know my credit score is 702 these programs do work it just takes time. also to keep a high score do not make large request for creditors to check your credit 100 credit inquries will drop your score mabye 100 points or more.

It took two years from 02/2005-07/2007 to get my credit score to 702. my credit is clean & I am going to keep it that way. once I pay of this credit card I will not get another one. I am proud I was able to build my credit I proved myself & my new credit card company even raised my limit all though u can never charge anything until u pay down the balance. this program has help me out lots & it will help out everybody who wants to build their credit.

This is a HARD-CORE Credit Rebuilder Card only!!!

AUTHOR: Valerie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, June 15, 2007

The whole purpose to get this card is 1) desperation to get a new start.....and 2) not getting the card to "use" but simply to establish good credit!

I got this card. I've never had problems, although I hate their guts just the same. But the reason I never had problems with it is this:

I only got the card with strict intentions of rebuilding my credit. I did NOT get this card to go out and use or charge anything on.....why? Because if you do that you are going to get into trouble. First you MUST pay off the $200 they are charging you to get the gift of restarting credit. Yes it's costly and unrighteous, but it's a fact - this is what they charge you just to start to rebuild your credit.

IN other words, when I got this card, I only paid monthly payments on it for the $200 balance that it arrives with. I'm not mad about it, cause I knew the rules when i signed for it, and this is how it works! Then, once that balance is paid down to $ -0-, then you can use the card if you wish, because you will have a ZERO balance, and you have a $200 credit line. See when you first make the payments to clear off the $200 balance you owe, you are proving to them you can make on-time monthly payments. THEN you get the $200 back!!! But only after about 6 months of perfect payment history! that means on time, not late, and no screw ups!

It's like probation. You are really walking a tight rope to prove yourself. But once you prove yourself by making 4 or 5 months of payments then you get back the $200 you first were in debt for. You don't really lose the money, it just takes a while to get it back, only 6 months, but it's like a savings plan, if you look at it in the attitude that you WILL get it back!!!! The bottom line with these cards is this: YOU MUST PROVE yourself to them for six months, by paying the $200 you have in debt just because you signed up for the card. Then they will give you back the $200, but you CANNOT be late on your payments!! That's just how probation works. You must prove that you are worthy of being trusted again! This is how life generally works when you have been a screw up in one way or another, either financially or criminally; right? Even if someone else did it to you, YOU have got to be responsible for YOUR NAME, they don't care about excuses. they are hard-core just like probation and parole officers! Don't mess UP!!

Some of you people just are NOT reading the terms and conditions on these hard-core credit rebuilders, or you would understand how they are working! It's not nice, and it sucks, but they are giving you a second chance to prove yourself, at a cost. But the cost gets credited back to you once you do prove yourself.

The real rip off comes in the form of extremely high interest rate, and yearly fees out the BUTT for maintenance and annual. Yes, those are rip offs, but when you sign for the card, you are basically agreeing to be ripped off at their terms - just to try and re-establish a good name again. It's a hard life. First premier has gotten rich off people in desperation to turn their credit around.

If you don't think you can play by the "probation" rules, so to speak, then do not apply for these hard-core, credit rebuilder cards, cause they will suck the life out of you at first, till you prove yourself. Any credit RE-builder card is a rip off!!!!! But if you are desperate, these are the only cards that will give you a 2nd chance! AT a COST!!! It's always your choice to take it or leave it. Don't even sign up for it if it's not something you can live with!
