I signed up for $7500.00 credit limit for on line shopping. They said would be 2.78 fee charge. Nothing was said about a monthly fee! Today I went to check my bank acct. & found out they took out 39.95. I am very angry right now, did not need to get ripped off right before the Holidays!

I happened to find out that it is a ripoff when I went to find their website & found out someone else was just ripped off by them.

What can I do about this? I am going to my bank tomorrow & find out too.,but do you have any suggestions??

Thanks for listening to my ripoff story!

ps

Also the telephone numbers that they give, no one is answering, so I cannot even call & give them HELL

Thanks again

Just wanted to let you know that this company goes as several different names

AUTHOR: Roxy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 07, 2009

After reading this I wanted to let you know this company (Vantex Group) goes as several different names. I was also ripped off by them, so I have done a lot of research. It looks as though they either get you to "buy" their product at their site, or deceptively have you "opt in" on very shady cash advance sites.

First of all check your credit card for any charges for Voice Mail and ID Theft. They add these 2 products if you ordered it on their site. They hide this on the second page of all their sites at the bottom. You think you are just buying a credit card. Turns out you are buying a really bad credit line to buy things only on their website....and they also give you 2 "free" trials to Vcomm Voicemail and ID Watchdog identity theft protection. This is free for a few days unless you cancel. Problem is that you probably never knew that you purchased this. They don't even ask if you want it. They just hide it way at the bottom of the page. Way below the submit button or anything else of importance. This is deceptive advertising. Please stay clear from this scam.

Also, here are other scam sites that Vantex Group (((Redacted))) runs that are similar:(((Redacted)))

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome! www.firstworldplatinum.com is not a scam and that is a fact!

who, in his right mind, would sign up for an online shopping site without checking the site first and reading the fine print? it's either you are one extremely stupid person or you are just pulling our legs! in any case, no one should ever believe this report. this is obviously a fabrication, an outright lie to discredit a reputable company! www.firstworldplatinum.com is not a scam and that is a fact!
