There is no such company under the name FLAT RATE INSURANCE licensed with the California Dept. of Insurance. There is also no physical address for this company other than MAIL BOXES ETC.

Anyone who buys automobile insurance online through this company is in for a rude awakening! If it sounds too good to be true... it is!

Contact the California Dept. of Insurance prior to purchasing any insurance policy, especially online.
