Florida Asset Preservation Group, LLC. (Leonard AKA "Frank" Smith) told me that he could get me a loan modification with a principal reduction. When the lender told me that they would not negotiate with them, he refused to give me a refund, even though his paperwork says refundable.

The person sends out newsletter via the internet about the type of services he offers. He told me he could negotiate with my lender and my payments would be lowered. He told me to stop paying the lender. He told me that he charges $1,250 up front and then $250 per month.

He told me that I could stop paying the $250 anytime I want. He then told me to put the money directly into his Bank Of America account number 063100277-229032934886. Once he got the money, he told me to fill out my financial information and fax it to him. He then calls the lender to let the lender know that he is representing me.

The lender called me and told me that they will not negotiate with him. He refuses to give me my money back. Everyone beware of these fraudulent people!
