Food and Drug Administration Restriction of Qjinine Silver Spring Maryland

Some years ago, you could buy quinine from the drugest, then they made you get a prescription, and now you can't get it at all. It was great for leg cramps and restless leg syndrome, which is what I used it for, and it was inexpensive.

Now you have to buy something like pramipexole, which is at least 10 times as expensive and does not work nearly as well. It was claimed that too many people had problems with quinine, so the FDA took it off the shelfs. Well, many people have trouble with aspirin too, but I don't see it being taken off the shelfs. The difference I see is that the drug companies couldn't make money on quinine, it being a natural product that has been used for centuries, while they can make money on aspirin, and a great deal more on pramipexole. And isn't it funny that we have heard a great deal about the aspirin problem, but nothing about the quinine problem?

is there any way to get the FDA to reverse its decision on quinine? I certainly hope so.
