Ford Credit is the most scandalous company you will ever do business with. I will just do a number list of the things that Ford Credit did to me. 1. Falsify there invoices (Almost every time you make a payment, you will see your new invoice is off by 100 dollars or more. Don't be like me and have online invoices, but this doesn't matter either because they will just be the falsified invoices they send you anyways)

2. If you ever do an extension they claim to just give you free time and add the payment to the end of the contract ,wrong. They wil make your 11 payments now 12 payments.

3.Repossessed my Ford Ranger the day before Christmas.I was 2 months behind yes but I made a payment 3 days before.

4.Claim if you make a payment using ebill it will post the next day. Wrong. It will take at least 3 or 4 days, maybe use the phone system and pay 5 dollars.I found out the hard way the day before Christmas.

5.Won't discuss your account with you if your even 1 dollar behind in payments and if you are not behind 1 dollar believe me they will falsify things to make sure you are.

6. An attorney would have a hard time pursuing these mafia criminals I call them because all there invoices are falsified.(Better make copies of your invoice)You will see not one invoice from one month to the next adds up,the customer is always on the lsoing end)

7.They don't want you to pay off your vehicle(I owed 4,900 6 months ago now magically I owe 5700 to pay off my truck even though I made over $2000 in payments since that time.

Now I know why the only company that isn't begging from the government yet because if you rip off all your customers like this you don't need to.

The previous people that talked about how rude they are and called them hypnotized monkeys is the only nice thign si could say about them. Belive me you will be a brokend man or woman after dealing with them. I hope no one has to learn the hard way like I did.

amazing

AUTHOR: collectorpro - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, September 30, 2012

this sadly is the mentality of consumers who can't handle their obligations well. Somewhere it became "ok" to be late on your bills and nothing should happen to you. I've done collections for over 20 years and heard and seen it all. Were "unfair", "scammers" blah, blah, blah. cry me a friggin river you deadbeats in the world!!! pay cash for everthing that way you don't have to owe anyone a debt and claim someone is ripping you off. 2 months behind? no big deal, let me go for 4 months behind, then I should worry, LOL

Worked for me

AUTHOR: Jes0125 - (U.S.A.)

I had a five year zero interest loan with Ford Credit and I never had a problem with them. I missed a payment one month and recieved a warning letter with a late fee. I immediately called, we confirmed that I had actually spaced it and forgoten to send a payment. I mad a double payment including the late fee the next month and that was the end of it.

I kept my own log of what I paid, when I paid, how much I paid and all the check numbers. All I know about their invoices is that when my own records showed that I had a zero balance (about six months early since I overpaid when I could) I recieved a letter from them showing the loan fully paid and included was my vehicles title.

Sorry you had problems with them.

I like Ford

Your complaint made me curious because I've always had a good experience with Ford Credit. This is my third car with them, and I've never had a problem. I went back and checked all my bills, and they're all accurate. I agree with the previous poster that your problems probably stem from inaccurate bookeeping on your part and failure to make payments on time.

NOT a Rip Off! Setting YOU straight.

ok one at at time:

1. Falsify there invoices (Almost every time you make a payment, you will see your new invoice is off by 100 dollars or more.
--When you make a payment only a percentage goes to the principal and the rest to interest. You need to read your contract to see what kind of interest rate you have.

2. If you ever do an extension they claim to just give you free time and add the to payment to the end of the contract ,wrong. They wil make your 11 payments now 12 payments.
--your statement makes NO sense. When you file an extension (Deferrment) they take the past due payment and tack it on the the end of the loan..which would add a payment to the end because you are skipping one. What do you think they meant by "add the payment to the end of your contract" OF COURSE your 11 months of payments will now take 12, THEY MOVED YOUR CURRENT PAYMENT TO THE END AND YOU PAID NOTHING THIS MONTH.

3.Repossessed my Ford Ranger the day before Christmas.I was 2 months behind yes but I made a payment 3 days before.
--OF COURSE they are going to repo your car if you are 2 months behind.. they can repo your car in a lot less time than that. What does Christmas have to do with anything? YOU were not paying your bill.

4.Claim if you make a payment using ebill it will post the next day. Wrong. It will take at least 3 or 4 days, maybe use the phone system and pay 5 dollars.I found out the hard way the day before Christmas.
--IF by ebill you mean paying your payment online- it usually does take 2-3 days to show up on your account... most places will post the payment as of the day you made it, unless their site states you must make payments X days in advance...then the earliest your payment will post is X days from the day you make your payment.

5.Won't discuss your account with you if your even 1 dollar behind in payments and if you are not behind 1 dollar believe me they will falsify things to make sure you are.
--YOU stated you were 2 months behind, not current. They WILL talk to you, but unless you are setting up concrete payment arrangements, there is not much they can do for a past due loan.

6. An attorney would have a hard time pursuing these mafia criminals I call them because all there invoices are falsified.(Better make copies of your invoice)You will see not one invoice from one month to the next adds up,the customer is always on the lsoing end)
--An attorney is not going to take your "case" on as Ford did NOTHING wrong, YOU DID by not holding up YOUR end of YOUR agreement with Ford. They are NOT mafia criminals, they are acting within the terms of the contract YOU agreed to when YOU signed it.

7.They don't want you to pay off your vehicle(I owed 4,900 6 months ago now magically I owe 5700 to pay off my truck even though I made over $2000 in payments since that time.
--That's just stupid. OF COURSE they want YOU to pay off your vehicle. You owed $4,900 6 months ago, paid $2,000 THEN had your truck REPO'D Once the truck is repo'd you are responsible for all fees associated with that repo. Again, READ YOUR CONTRACT.

Sorry, but you have NO real arguement here and you were not ripped off. All these consequences were a direct result of YOUR actions.

And?

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

Wow companies that are getting "Bail-Out's" are ripping people off because they won't give them a break. Companies that are not getting "Bail-Out's" don't need them because they are already ripping customers off. Funny how no one seems to admit it when they are trying to rip a company off.

After all you made a legal agreement to pay back a certain amount of money each and every month ON-TIME. In exchange for that they would loan you several thousand dollars to get a car. So I guess people who don't pay back their loans as agreed would think that any company that actaully holds them to what was agreed to would be the "worst company ever".

While your report is short on specifics I have a feeling that most of your issues revolves around your mis-understanding of car loans and the ramifications of paying late(even a day or two).

Since you are making a set payment every month, at the beginning of your loan you are paying mostly interest. While at the end you are paying mostly principal. So as an example in the beginning if you make a $300 payment, $250 may be going to interest with only $50 to principal. At the end of the loan it would be reversed and $250 would be going to principal. Loan payments are calculated based on the Due Date. If the payment is due on the 1st it is late on the 2nd and you will be assessed addtional interest for each day it is late. This is not the same as the penalty date which is where they assess the late fee(as well as additional interest).

If you plug in your numbers to an amoritzation table with the exact amounts and dates, you will find that the "numbers" do add up. Believe me if the numbers didn't add up any first year accounting student would find out, and lawyers would be breaking down the doors of the courthouse with all the lawsuits they would file.

I have actually paid off 2 loans with them successfully and can tell you that they are one of the more lienient companies out there.
