Franklin Collection Service ripoff Tupelo Mississippi

I was contacted at my work about a $350 phone bill I owe in the latter part of December 2004 requesting that I make immediate payment by phone. I explained to the person that I was not able to make the full payment due to medical bills from my son being in a car accident the month before. But that I would start to make payments in January. She said that was unacceptable. I made a payment in January and another in February as promised.

Then the last part of February, I receive a summons to court where they had filed a suit against me for the full amount. After repeated phone calls with them, they decided they would accept a moneygram for the full amount owed including court costs. They said my two payments had been put toward court costs, ha! I made the payment they insisted I make and now I learn they have tacked on another $225.

Does this thing never end with them? I'm at a loss as to what to do with this company. I have never been talked to so ugly in my entire life. They are the rudest people to try to deal with. You do things their way or get sued. Period!
