Fred Prescott (Adaptable Marketing) Fred Prescott is Running a Scam on Guru.com Rochester Minnesota

On 6/20/2016, I paid Fred Prescott (Adaptable Marketing) an upfront payment of $440 through Guru.com to perform telemarketing support which he said would include approximately 30 hours of calling within 4 weeks.  He spent the entire 4 weeks making excuses and repeatedly delaying the process, never made a single call, and effectively derailed an $18,000 project, possibly causing other legitimate contractors to lose valuable work so that he could get $400 for nothing.  He then asked for another $400!

I informed Guru.com that I believed that he was using their service to perpetrate a fraud.  They advised me to submit a refund request to him through their system, so that they could confirm that he received it.  I did so and he failed to respond.  He later received at least 2 messages from Guru.com staff asking him to respond.  He still has not done so.

Fred Prescott has been running a scam on Guru.com, in clear violation of Guru.com's terms of service.  Please keep my experience in mind if you are considering hiring him for anything whatsoever.
