I can't believe I fell for this scam! I've used freecredit report.com before, cancelled before the 7 day trial ended and wiped my hands clean. Justhad to deal with customers service reps espousing the"power of knowing one's credit is essential in todays society. Yeah, sure just cancel it please. ""are you sure you want to lose this freedom?" Yes.

Flashfoward two years later I now am married, have a child, and am looking into buying a house. On a whim I decide to go back to this "free" site and have a quick peak, then cancel again. I saw my report winced, and decided that I would cancel the next day. Before canceling, I checked my bank account as I do daily and what do I see? A 29.99 charge from freecreditscore.com! What? It said I would not be charged untilthe 7-day trial was exhausted, not the next day. Quickly, I called their supposed "customer service" and asked why I was charged, and that I wanted a refund immediatly. No. I would not get a refund. It seems that somewhere on theirwebsite I had signed up for the privacy plus program. Neat.

I never was told that in any disclaimerI would be charged this amount.There was not a hint of a checkout procedure, and even worse no receiptwith a confirmation number.I stated clearly that I was on their website for approximately five minutes. I saw little information and quite frankly, found the site to be designed in a confusing manner. I'm not sure they even put time into the design. Guess they're too busy getting loser rock bands to write childish jingles inorder to create the illusion of free.
