I attempted to place an order for a perscription summer 2007. I had a doctor's perscription for the medication and they said they would confirm it prior to filling it. When I checked with the doctor they did not recieve a confirmation and for two months I was told the medication was backordered and unavailable. When it was available they only gave me a partial order so I would get billed monthly instead of getting 3mths at one time. Due to the problems with the shortage, I canceled my order and membership.

I placed the order on a bank account that I use primarily use as a savings account and never withdrawl money. I have not used the account since the order this past summer. Knowing I still had some money in the account I did not pay attention until i got a notice that the account was withdrawn and I was charged an overdraft fee. When I went to the bank to figure out the problem I was advised that I was being charged monthly from Fronier Pharmacies. They charged me 19.95 in June 2007, then 20.95 July/Aug/Sept/October 2007. Not only do I have$100 of charges I should have never recieved, I also have the overdraft fees from my bank.

I attempted to call the company and was unable to speak to a person and only got recordings.

I also get calls several times a month, and sometimes several a week, from individuals from pharmacies attempting to get me to order more. I have asked over and over again to take mee off of their mailing list but the calls continue.

After they sent an automatic reply that had nothing to do with my complaint, I was sending another email and noticed the reply did not come from the email that is listed as a contact email on their web site, but from: frontierpharmacy@yahoo.com/

I sent a reply back to the original contact email and to the yahoo email. I recieved a reply in the evening that appears to be from an actual person and not a computer. The email stated my membership was canceled and a request for a refund was submitted. Now, I guess I just have to wait and see if anything happens. The email mentioned disputing the charge with my bank but I already checked on that and it cost more to dispute each charge than the orginally charge, so that just defeats the purpose. I also explained that to the company.

Good Luck with anyone dealing with a situation like this. I am usually more carefull and double check with companies to be sure nothing like this happens. I dont follow up this time and I loose $100. Go figure. BUT consumers should not have to go back and double check when they cancel things to be sure it is done.

When I attempted to contact the company about my complaint I sent an email after I was unable to speak to a person on the phone. My email questioned my membership fees after I canceled my membership months ago. Instead of contacting me over the phone, I recieved this reply:

Thank you for your recent order.

Your order has been denied by your primary care physician. We are unable to ship your order without a valid prescription. It is a violation of federal regulations to dispense medication based solely on an online questionnaire. If you do not have a physician we can attempt to schedule an appointment with a house call doctor agency to see you in your home to determine your medical needs. The cost of the visit is $225.00. If you are interested in this service, please contact our customer care department to find out if there is a doctor in your area or e-mail info@frontierpharmacies.com

***I did not question the approval of my order, when I contacted my doctor and found out they never contacted them I became worried about the company so, I canceled my order and membership. The reply email says nothing about my memberhips fees.
