"WARNING"... i left my class A motor home on consignment (for sale) with Fun Motors in San Antonio, Texas.  I also contracted with them to reseal the roof of the RV to guard against leaks.  I checked in with them every few months to see if there had been any activity on my RV.  They said that there had been no activity to date andthat everything was fine.

Receintly I sent a prospective buyer to Fun Motors.  The prospective buy informed me that Fun Motors could not find my RV.  Naturally alarm bells went off in my head.

I went to Fun Motors in San Antonio only to discover that my RV had been parked in an out lot and had been used to canablize for spar parts and that the resealing of the roof had not been done resulting in considerable water damage to the unit.

No one at the dealership knew what had happened and claimed that they were all new employees.  When asked who the owner was they told me that that was confidential and if I had any complaints I was to email thier company and would recieve a response.  To date no response has been recieved.

Warning!!!!!.....stay away from Fun Motors, there is no fun doing business with them.  In fact will cost you money!

The whole story

This individual has left out several key details of the situation. We have talked to him several times to try to make him happy, but he is not willing to work with us or even tell us what he wants. Here are several important points that he left out:

1) His RV is 17 years old. We never sell RVs this old, but he insisted that we try. We agreed to see what we could do with it, but since he was insisting on a price that was more than double the value of the RV, we told him it likely wouldn't sell.
2) We also agreed to store his RV for free during the attempted sale. We had his RV on our lot for over 18 months, which would have easily run up a bill of over $1200 in storage fees - which we did not charge him, even though the RV never sold.
3) We do not do roof sealing, and we definitely wouldn't have agreed to do roof sealing on an RV that is 17 years old. We have no record of his request, or of any inquiry about it. It's possible that he made a side deal with an employee, but again, that would have been outside of anything that Fun Motors is responsible for.
4) He claims that we cannibalized his 17 year old RV for parts - since we never sell RVs this old, we would have no reason to remove parts from his RV to use in any other RVs. This claim is simply false.
5) He claims that he's had no response from us, but we have spoken to him on multiple occasions about this situation. He's definitely heard from us, but he is unwilling to work with us or even let us know what it is that he actually wants.

As far as being parked at a separate lot, we moved our primary location during the 18 months that he had his RV stored with us. His RV was never moved to a separate "out" lot, it's just that our main office location had moved. That's also why the employees at the new office location did not know about his RV at the older lot.
