Thomas Riggs has created a series of books called contemporary theatre film and television.  

The description of the books is - This popular series brings you extensive biographical and career information on more than 20,000 professionals currently working in the entertainment industry, including performers, choreographers, directors, technicians, writers, composers, producers, executives, designers, critics and more. Contemporary Theatre, Film & Television includes birth dates, parental and marriage information, education data (including professional training), political and religious affiliations and military service — plus, details on writings, recordings, awards and nominations and memberships. 

There targart audience is students, educators, researchers, librarians and general readers to provide them with information on a wide range of entertainment figures. 

However serveral entries are wrong and people details have been repeated in different editions with differnt date of birth listed and differnt personal details.  The books have not been facted checked and just a collations of data of the internet.  When entries have been rewritten it has not been made clear as to why people personal details change, like date of births, education and work history mainly early work at the start of their careers. The books have clearly not be resesarched correctly. 

When asked about the books content, staff unable to answer any questions as to which information is correct and which isn't.  Gale are exploiting schools and libraries of up $270.00 for books which a unproductive as many of the details within the books are incorrect.
