I lease a 98 Chevy S10. Had a problem with battery leaking in positive terminal corner. Contacted local dealer who recommended contacting GM. When I contacted GM, they informed that the truck was out of warranty and they would not replace battery. They recommended I contact AC Delco, which I did. They said they had heard that the factory was overtightening the positive terminals, causing them to leak in a couple of years. They recommended contacting GM.
