Genie Cleaning Arizona Estimate way off, horrible job, false advertising, rude subcontractor, terrible customer service phoenix Arizona

 I recently stumped upon this article about amazing carpet deals. I was SHOCKED to see that a company who just ripped me off this weekend… WAS the first! We decided this month we would move because, our lease was almost up and my grandma who is elderly and staying with us can not move up the stairs. I googled cheap carpet cleaning (I should've known better CHEAP is never a word for great service) and I stumped upon genie cleaning! I called them I was quoted 69.99 for 2 LITTLE living rooms, a SMALL hallway, and a master bedroom! I was told 69.99 and .15 a sq foot if dirty (the living rooms were not in that bad of shape! I actually redid the carpets myself with a small bisell and they came out BEAUTIFUL) So, when the tech showed up he told me it would be 455.00 for those small little rooms (I went with 69.99 because, I had someone to do the WHOLE house for 99.00 but, I tried to stay frugal because we just moved in to one house and out of the other) I told the tech thank you but, that's not what i was quoted and I will call ZeroRez or someone else. I ended up telling him NO four times and he would not get out of my living room and yelled at me that he had just driven all the way to Surprise, Az to do my carpets. He finally told me 150.00 and I settled because, it was memorial day weekend and I couldn't find any one to come do the job sooner and the new tenants are coming next weekend. When we came back when it only took him ONE hour to do everything the carpet looked terrible and you could see the stains (I paid 50$ extra for a deep cleaning) I told him i was unsatisfied and I would not be signing his papers. He told me I had to sign because, it says he was there. I said absoultey not and asked him politely to leave. He than told me he was a subcontractor and did not care if I paid or not because, he is paid hourly (On genie cleanings website they state they have 5-10 technicians with years of experience and they do the work themselves). I had called their office to let them know about the issue and the lady told me basically there was nothing they were willing to do and that I should've told him to leave. He intimidated me. He also pulled my husband aside away from me when I was calling other companies and told my husband I was a "hard bargain" and that he needed my credit card information. My husband is a passive guy and trusted they would do a good job and went through with it. Not the case. Two days later the carpet dried up… It was stiff and dirt was everywhere. He did not get any of the corners of the carpets and no stains came up. After he up charged us with the DEEP cleaning he told me I would have to pay a heat transfer fee for any stains! My landlord was so upset with the carpet we were threatened if it didn't get fixed we would not get our deposit back because, the cleaners job was even worse than the carpet before he "cleaned it". We went back today on memorial day and cleaned the carpet ourselves. It took us our whole holiday with 2 small Bissell's  (Walmart carpet cleaners!) and we got the job done. The carpet came out AMAZING. By ourselves. I am so disappointed I gave this company 200.00 of our hard earned money (We have two babies under two and we both work VERY hard for our money) and they could not even give us a call back (We were promised we'd have a call yesterday from the owner) . When I went back to their website I noticed they have no email or address on there. When I went to file with the BBB I realized they have an F rating and their BBB  accreditation has been REVOKED (ON their website they say they are affiliated and recommended by the BBB!) Also, their Facebook page has been taken down (Probably to hide reviews like this!) We need to let everyone know this company will take your money, do a horrible job, rip you off, and not call back!
