I had the same problem with this company. Initially they kept calling my cellular phone, which is illegal without express written consent perusant to FCC regulations as well as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Now, they had originally placed about 7 calls to my cell phone prior to my actually calling anybody back. Even when I did call back, still, I never gave any permission for them to contact my cellular phone number with their pre-recorded messages they were having played to me when either myself, or my voicemail would answer the call. This is key to this trick, is that they are calling #1, without express written permission, #2, PLAYING pre-recorded messages to you, or your voicemail soliciting any type of service. With these two criteria met, you can sue for up to $1,500.00 per call. I don't know where you are, but in Texas the maximum you can sue for in small claims court will be $10,000.00. You would file suit either where the company is domiciled, or where you live.

I am in the process of suing them now as we speak. They were sent the demand letter a while back to their California office, claiming that they are legally operating in all 50 states. Their registered company in California is/was Credit Repair Group, which has a suspended license, meaning they cannot LEGALLY do business. And I have yet to find a single shred of their existance being reported with the Secretary of State in Texas. So, due the fact that I am in Texas, they called me here, they took my money for their services here, etc, they are operating illegally.

I received an email from R. Reynolds who thinks I am unaware of what his name is, which I am very aware of whom he is, telling me this: "Our parent organization is a non-profit organization which is exempt from ANY and ALL credit service law and legally operated in all 50 states". However, no further emails were sent back when I inquired about this supposed parent company, or what law statutes they are claiming provide them exemption. They charge so much as $1 for this "credit repair" nonsense, that makes them for profit.

I did get my "one time $100 fee" refunded ASAP once they received my demand letter, but they have yet to satisfy the demand so we will be heading to court soon. Now that I know where their Texas location is, it will certainly put a fire to somebodys bottom to get on the ball. They don't announce who they are in the messages they have left. I had to do some work to trace the numbers and such which is how I discovered Credit Repair Group, who is one and the same of Getyour720.

They are STILL calling my cell phone to this day with some new pre-recorded message and my number is blocked from their phones. When I try to call it tells me I am calling a non-working number. This came about after "Eric" called me when he told me they were refunding my $100 fee (which was supposed to be $99) when I threatened to sue for theft. It was theft, I authorized $99, not $100. When I told him to have someone, preferably an attorney representing them contact me is when they made it so I couldn't even call them back.

Needless to say, NOW They are surely aware of the law regarding TCPA and FCC regs, as they received my demand letter which I can prove in court which cited the law numbers and such, and they have INTENTIONALLY called my cell phone without permission again, playing these messages. $10,000 in small claims, quite a bit more if i opt to sue them in federal court.
