Golds Gym Eastgate Descrimination Against Women With Children and Breech of Contract Cincinnati Ohio

In June of 2005 I visited Gold's Gym Eastgate as a guest of a friend. I intended on getting a membership that day but I wanted to check it out and make sure it would suit me first. It was great. We worked with a trainer that day, got a tour of the facilities, they even watched my 3 children while we worked out. I signed my contract that day. I loved it and my kids loved going with me and playing in the daycare area. I found out I was pregnant and didn't go back for awhile because I got sick after I had my son. When I was finally ready to start working out again I went once without incident.

On my next visit it was a totally different story. When I entered I was told, after a year and a half of a three year contract, that daycare was not part of my membership. They wanted me to either pay per child per visit or add it to my membership for additional funds. I was heated! I went to discuss it with the General Manager of the club. I told him I thought they were in breech of contract. He told me he didn't care about my contract and that was then and this was now. I then asked him for their corporate office number so I could file a complaint. He told me they wouldn't do anything for me and gave me a phone number which ended up being a wrong number. He disrespected and belittled me to the point where I didn't feel comfortable going back. I have called and left several messages at their corporate office but I never got anywhere with it. I have since moved out of state and will hopefully be able to cancel my membership once and for all. I will never visit Gold's Gym again!
