 I had changed jobs out of state so I needed to cancell my gym membership. I had two weeks to sell the house and move my family to Ohio. I went to the gym to cancel my membership and explained my circumstances. I was told I must cancel online. I handed them a copy of the the sale of our house and a copy of my new contract in Ohio. I went online and cancelled with my iPad. A month later I was charged again. When I called they told me they had my documents but they do not have my cancellation notice. I told them what I did and they said you cannot cancel from an iPad. I re submitted from the work computer and I have a cancellation e-mail from them. I was charged again this month with a additional $25 maintenance fee. I called and they told me they do not take house sale documents because I could just move. I said I gave you a contract too. She told me that was not good, I need a copy of my pay stub. That news to me. Two months ago these documents were good enough. Today I will go to the bank and dispute the charges and any future charges. I read on-line I am not the only one they are doing this to. Buyer beware!!!!
