In July 2012 my intentions were to call Microsoft to get some assistance in resolving some issues with my computer.  The call was intercepted by Cohen's company and they fraudulently supposedly fixed my computer and charged me $350 for Microsoft Essentials and free assistance going forward with this payment.  In December 2012, I called Microsoft again for another issue and this time was correctly answered by a true Microsoft employee.  This person advised that Microsoft Essentials is a free service and that I must have been scammed.  Upon this tidbit of information, I came out here to Ripoff report to find that I was not the only victim.  After reading a response from Cohen mentioning if he had been contacted he would resolve that person's issue.  Giving him the benefit of a doubt, I called and spoke to him on Dec 18th, he said he would refund all of my money.  We have been going back and forth through faxes, calls and emails and he has refunded $175 of the $350.  But the remaining $175 is still outstanding.  On Feb 26, 2013, he advised that he had sent me the remaining balance, on March 9th I sent yet another email after leaving another voice mail to advise that I had not received that last $175.  On March 14th I received a personal check from him with heading of Mexideals, Inc from Citibank.  I called Citibank to validate that this was a legitimate account that had the funds to cover this check.  I was informed that the account was closed and had no funds.  So now I am left to trying to file charges or file a small claims case.  This is so ridiculous and maybe if I get one of the television judges he can be exposed and I can receive my money and any other damages I am entitled to.
