I ordered Grant Finder Pro on April 16, 2009 and canceled the trial on April 27. Today, May 5, I was charged $9.95 for Network Agenda. I had never even heard of this, so I checked out Ripoff Reports and found that it was associated with Grant Finder Pro.

This is the info I received when I signed up with Grant Finder Pro:

"Thank you for signing up with Grant Finder Pro. We are pleased that you are now enrolled in a 14 day trial subscription for our Grant Finder Pro Online Resource Center--the most complete and simple to use Grant Search Guide!

{2 paragraphs of login info and description of Grant Resource Center}

Your trial period will be for a period of 14 days. If within this 14 day period you aren't 100% thrilled with our services for ANY reason, simply contact us via the toll free number 1-888-811-1915 and we'll cancel your subscription or email us back at support@grantfinderpro.com. Also note that your credit card statement will show the bill under our registered company name JECC, LLC."


You will notice that there is no mention of other products or trial periods I am being signed up for. Nor was there anything in any of the other emails I received from this company.

This is the sign-up page, where the customer service rep keeps insisting the info about the other trial periods is listed:


"You will also get a Free Consultation from one of our Grant Specialist to make sure you get started in the right direction! But, You Must Order By Midnight Tonight - To receive this exclusive bonus offer, valued at $125.00.

Exclusive Free Bonus: 14 Days Access to the Grant Funding Network Online Database. Once you order the Free CD. Please carefully read your email receipt for important instructions and where to go to access the database. You will receive a username and password and your account will be set up by the next business day. With this access you can search thousands of private and corporate foundations that are required to give away at least 5% of their assets every year!

Remember, This Program Includes The Getting Started Guide to Grant Funding, Your Free Grant Consultation, and Fourteen Days Free Access to The Grant Finder Pro Resource Center, Normally Forty Nine Ninety Five a Month for Only the Price of $2.95 Postage and Handling (See Terms for Details)."

"The 14-day free trial membership is provided as a bonus to everyone that orders our program. This includes online resources and training to help you through your search for funding. We update the site continually with valuable content to make sure you have the tools you need. You can easily cancel by emailing our Customer Service department at support@grantfinderpro.com or call us at our toll free number 1-888-811-1915 between 8am to 5pm EST. If you do not cancel your membership by the end of the 14 day trial period, your membership will automatically renew and your credit card will be charged monthly thereafter. Charges will appear on your credit card statement from JECC, LLC. Monthly charges will end as soon as we receive your request for cancellation. No monthly fees will be charged if the request for cancellation is received prior to the end of the 14 day trial period. The trial is 14 days from the day you order your package from us. By ordering this package, you agree and understand that your card will be charged for the monthly fee of $69.95 unless you cancel within 14 days from the day your order."
Again, no mention of any other programs.

I have contacted my bank, Grant Finder Pro, Network Agenda, and Project Payday, which is the program that got me signed up with these people.

Sorry for the late reply. We finally got the time to reply back to online complaints. As far as the charges on your account, I have checked your account with us and see that you are right we have you registered on our account last April 16, 2009. We only billed you for the $2.95 shipping and handling fee. I am not sure how you got us mixed up with Raven Media as we are not in any way connected to them. The terms and conditions and statements you have from our company is correct. Anyway, please feel free to contact me at 888-811-1915 and look for me directly my name is JP and I am one of the executives here in JECC, LLC.

I am hoping we could clarify this issue for you.
