I only wanted some information to apply for grants that you didn't have to pay back. I agreed to the $1.99 that they would take. I didn't want the membership and I never saw the $94.89 amount PERIOD. If I had, I would of never signed up for the $1.99 deal.

I call my bank to check my balance, and that was when they told me of this $94.89 withdraw. I never told this people that I wanted this, nor did I sign up for this. Then you can't talk to these people at all, you have to send them an e-mail.

Well, I'm sending a whole-lot of e-mails to them. Now, they're telling me that I have to wait an 88 day trial period and if I'm not satisfied then I can fax or mail in for my refund and it's suppose to be there within 24-48 hours. ON top of that, they have closed the account so my e-mail doesn't show anywhere and that is how they are telling me to go to the refund part and fill that out. How can you do that when I can't even sign in! These people know actually what they are doing. They make it very hard for you to communicate with them hoping that you would eventually give up and say forget it.

Well NOT I'M NOT THAT PERSON! I am going to contact them everyday til I get my money back. Then they want you to sign-in to look over what they have to offer just in case you change your mind! I told them I don't want nothing they got and I have taken that $1.99 cd they sent me and have thrown it in the TRASH! Replace my money, that is all we have to talk about and it's don't have to be in 88 days!

What government connections - the whole thing is scam

AUTHOR: Laurie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, March 11, 2009

they go after people just like you - TOO LAZY to do a little research on the internet and FIND THE GOVERNMENT WEBSITES THAT YOU GET THIS INFO FOR FREE!

Government Grant Scams
The "free money" scam has been around almost as long as the human species. It has more variations than a bulldog has wrinkles but you can count on one thing: the government (any government) does not simply give money away to individuals. Anyone who tells you differently has larceny in his heart. If you give him your bank account number, he will soon have your funds in his pocket.
Below is a tiny sample of the hundreds and hundreds of complaints we receive about the many versions of this scam. It does no good to list all of the names used by these bunko artists because a.) they change all the time and b.) every single free-money government-grant offer is a scam. Period.

the above is from another complaint board ConsumerAffairs, that also has articles about the scams to watch out for. So does the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION WEBSITE
