I owned a 2004 Audi with book value of 4300. I had put 4000 worth of parts and labor into it. It needed cam shaft seals about 1500 more worth of work. So on Craigslist put up ad for sale of 1800 or swap car of equal value that ran problem free as I needed it for medical appts. out of town. Brian Guillespe contacted me, sent pics of a nice 2001 Chevy Malibu. Have texts stating car was absolutely perfect, had new engine and tranny with only 70,000 miles. He drove car down (a 1 1/2 hr trip) that took 3.5 hours. I did not like the car and told him so. In front of several witnesses he stated he had a lot full of cars to choose from. Just come up and pick one that would work for me.

So let the Audi go. Same night went to go to store and seat belt didn't work. I texted him and his answer was to send me a you tube video of how to fix it. ( I'm 65). Next day car wouldn't start and he claimed it was a recall and needed a new ignition switch. I told him to bring my Audi back! He refused. Got car started at nine pm went to store and coming up hill on busy 4 lane road car died. No power no lights nothing. He again wanted me to drive it to them in Ludlow at night. I said no it's not safe. I went on Craigslist and found my Audi advertised saying he had owned it for six months, paid 8500 for it for his GF but she had recently died and was up for quick sale of 4900. I gave gas money to a friend to meet up with them to see the car and my friend took pictures of the vin and all the flaws that he knew the car had.

It also was blowing oil so they didn't even fix the oil seals. They were trying to rip off someone else for a lot! I ended up only getting 300 for the Chevy as no one wanted it when it wouldn't start half the time and would shut down with no notice. The Ludlow Police want me to go file a report which I finally can next week. Got a cheap car. Filed report with better business bureau and taking police report along with supporting evidence to Attorney General in their area. LastlyI am suing them in small claims for what I lost in value between the cars, for defrauding a senior, the difference in what I sold my Chevy for and my replacement vehicle cost. If necessary I will put lien on the business. May never see it but someone has to stand up to these crooks. Hoping between the Ludlow police, Attorney General and IRS someone stops them.
